G'day Renee,
We only know English and I know a very small part of French.
I'd vote for Viet Nam; a beautiful country, vibrant, friendly people, and a great exchange rate to do whatever you want. Try it, you'll see.
Cheers, Ozzie
my husband and i decided to go somewhere next year -- anywhere in the world.
consider we live in america and have never been ouside of america.
(well -- jamaca/caimen islands but that doesn't really count!

oops, well i had intended to post a message along with this new topic and my fingers were faster than my brain (need more coffee .
well, i suppose it's like preaching to the converted; me obtaining this book, but i guess it's one of those things i just needed to do to finalize everything.. i know there are countless topics on ray franz' book.
but to finally pick it up, i feel like: 'i can hardly wait to read it'.. before, i more or less figured: 'i am out of the wtbts, so why bother?'.
Ray:
Just popping in to say a big "G'day mate" !
Enjoy your read.
Cheers,
Ozzie
boy do i feel ripped off!
as a witness if i spend my life at meetings and field service my reward is............eternity with the witnesses gardening which i hate.....and singing kingdom songs.
no t.v no booze no fun no nothing and to boot i don't get my 70 virgins like the muslims......i mean for 70 virgins i would be willing to go thru all the meetings and field service........but to spend eternity with your circuit oversear and a bunch of bethelite's i think the living would envy the dead.

Really?? I wonder how Mrs 007 would feel if she read your words here?
Remember how concerned you were that she might read what her husband has been writing?
My wife burst into the computer room and found me {gasp} talking with Apostates on this site! Now she doesn't go Witnessing anymore and only very rarely goes to a meeting...but talking to Apostates is not on! I quickly closed down but had to log-off later so she doesn't find out that Iam "Witness 007." Some personal stuff is on here and she is very private..........she's probably at home right now searching the Net History!

A suggestion: only write what you'd be comfortable with anyone reading. As a rule, if you feel you could be embarrassed, then don't post it.
i have been married for 10 years and have two wonderful step kids, 15 and 21. being a jw i did not want a child as life seemed so pointless.
things changed for the better since leaving and i am now the proud father of a big baby boy zac - 9pounds (4.1kg), 52cm long and huge lungs.
my wife is filipino so the baby looks very asian at the moment.
Congratulations you guys from Mrs Ozzie and myself.

W-e-e-l-l, I guess I've been around performers too long but honestly, that dame doesn't have much of a stage penache does she? rather wooden with a few wiggles - nah, that wasn't much of a professional gig. Gawd, hasn't she learned stage presence after all these years?! Downunder we have scores of performers who 'do the clubs' every Saturday night - much like what we see on this clip.
Still, I like the voice a little.
when i was almost seven, we moved from the gulf coast town of mobile, alabama to morgan city, louisiana.
on brashear avenue, which was also highway 90, the gulf coast hwy, going towards the now old atchafalaya bridge, there was a shrimp boat in the middle of the road called the spirit of morgan city.
at christmas time they decorated it with a santa on the front and his reindeer out front, as if it were santa's mode of transportation through cajun country, rather than his regular sleigh.
just visited with my daughter and noticed a new paperback edition of the "revelation" book on her bookshelf.. i presume that this edition was updated for the current book studies?
anyone confirm this?
what were the differences?.
Thanks all, very interesting.
I'll file them away for a 'rainy day'.
