  i do not post ot topics on here but i think this could relate to the jw cult because i remember a brother gave a talk long time ago and he said that jehovah would never allow man or science to play with crossing genes and if humans start to do this then we need to find a new religion.

  well.... here it is.. now i also want to say, if jehovah cared so much about all this human suffering then why does science seem to be the one who actually cares about fixing thing?

  JWs in Russia- "Pray for those in prison"

  last night at the midweek meeting was a part titled "pray for those in prison" or something like that.. they showed a video all about the witnesses in russia and the court battles they've been fighting of late and the hard time they have been having because of it all.. the first thing that struck me, hey, why don't you a** holes in brooklyn send these poor sods a few rubles to help them along?.

  nah!

  prayer is what they need.. anyway, i hadn't really followed the story so i thought i would look it up this morning and see what was in the media about the story.. on the npr website they had a big write up about it back in may of last year.... http://www.npr.org/sections/parallels/2016/05/17/476898973/russias-jehovahs-witnesses-fight-extremist-label-possible-ban.

  i'm thinking if these nuclear powers work together for a common interest lots of progress will have been made.

  a total end of the cold war with russia is a good thing for the world.

  once you get the burden of war with each other off the table i think a lot of good can be accomplished in bumping heads in how solve common goals best..

  Yes outlaw. Anyone who says anything good about Watchtower is an idiot. No matter how much academic research they have conducted or if they have no association with Watchtower. Or is it just that Watchtower paid him off......RO

  Being an expert in one area..

  Doesn`t mean your not absolutely clueless in another..

  I have a Buddy with a Masters in Linguistics,one step down from a Doctorate..

  He had no clue how to fry an egg without destroying it..

  I went to Culinary Arts School..

  I was able to teach him something he wasn`t able to grasp before..

  He makes himself a breakfast he can enjoy now..

  And a side note although the Navajo nation is part of a number of US states they are not a first world nation.
