i have two honest questions for everyone here.
i understand that most here want retribution from the courts against watchtower for child abuse allegations.
but let us take away the instances where someone was accused of child abuse and then later put back into a position of authority, such as an elder or an ms. let us just take the cases where a regular publisher or even an appointed person, with no previous accusation of child abuse has come up against that person.
Why do you feel that Watchtower is responsible for that person's actions against the
child?
what do you want Watchtower to do in countries that either have a low age of consent or have a very lax or non-existent law enforcement and judicial branch.
during the watchtower study today, i browsed genesis and looked for evidence of noah ever preaching to anyone.
from what i could glean from the scriptures, it was a foregone conclusion that noah's family would be it on the ark.
(unless they towed some rafts behind) my wife says that building the ark could be considered a witness of his faith to the wicked world, but that seems kind of lame to me.. so, should i just assume that god decided not to give anyone else a chance for redemption?

do all potential converts have to take part in field service before baptism?
and do new members generally try to bring in their friends and family or do they generally keep their religion to themselves?
what do pioneers do if they're going door to door and chance on someone they know or work with in their personal lives?
I'd also like to hear where every baptized member is an ordained minister of the gospel.
If that's true, then any of you active members could baptize anyone you wished without permission. You could baptize your wife, kids, anyone.
my older brother is studying with the witnesses.
he was raised in a jw household like we all were but he never committed to it.
he stopped attending meetings at 18yo, made a lot of bad decisions in his life and now, at 35yo is having a bible study.

What's Expected in Field Service?
1)..Avoid houses that look like people are home..
2)..Tell people you're too busy to talk to them,if they ask difficult questions..
3)..Go for a really long coffee break..
4)..Leave WBT$ Literature as a tip for the waitress,so you can count the time..
5)..Call on one more house and call it a day..
i recently spoke to an old friend of mine who is still under the clutches of the watchtower.
a while back, i had told him about all the child sex abuse coverups, false prophecies, false doctrines etc.
he was really shocked and surprised.
Sometimes, I believe that they have a mental disorder.
