Going to Church

i went to church in my local town while the witnesses attended the perth assembly.

it was a good sermon and i actually felt very upbuilt and refreshed after listening to it.

i really thought i would of felt guilt or some negative feeling for doing this, but quite the opposite.

Going to Church is generally hard to do at first for ex-JW's, but the love and support of others most of the time out weighs any negatives.

We attend Church regularly now and are quite happy to do so.

Annoying trend in TV commercials...

have you noticed how it seems that the tactic of making commercials deliberately annoying is becoming popular?

i'm sure you can think of a commercial or two that quickly becomes like fingernails on a chalkboard.

that is why they are produced and repeated over and over, they accomplish the purpose of getting your attention and causing you to remember them.

If I asked my doctor if such and such a product is right for me every time I hear on TV to do that, he would never want to see me again!

okay, in order it goes like this for me............brother peace 1980-83, brother rose 1984-86, brother yasko 1986-88, brother sekella 1988-91, brother billy ford 1992-95, brother davis 1996-99, brother irskin 2000-03 and then it gets kinda blurry....brother burge and another, brother hairston.

okay, that just about does it.

i have this topic becauce i tried reading the favorite co and do thread, but did not recognize any names......

Some of you older ones might remember Ruben Cobos from Los Angeles. Served in Michigan and other states. Was a first class guy, and real loving! I liked him.
