What, are we in the business of trying to help the Watchtower Society become more efficient? I wouldn't give them any tips on how they could do things better.

Potential Changes at Bethel...
by TheListener ini posted this on another thread but it really got me thinking about how the wts could really do this:.
the wts needs to stop spending so much cash.. they have real estate but once sold and the proceeds used it offers no more value.. they need to simplify, simplify, simplify (and isn't that the mantra they recite each time they make an organizational change?).
they could: push more and more printing to the individual publishers in order to cut down on printing costs (this may only apply to developed countries but it still would result in significant savings).

What is your strangest "supernatural" JW story?
by donny ini had just became a witness and a guy i worked with, who was also a jw, told me a story that actually made me laugh and i think it upset him a bit.
the storys were almost always in the third person.
it went as follows.. this brothers wife and him were sitting at the kingdom hall on the end seats of the row next to the back of the room.

by Princess Daisy Boo inyou may recall the thread i started on monday about wanting a change or an adventure... .
well how's this for the laws of attraction.... my husband has just been told that his company is laying off 600 of it's 3000 employees in a massive restructure.. they are offering voluntary separation packages, early retirements, and then of course there will be forced retrenchments.
we are thinking and hoping that he is safe for now, he is in middle management and well respected and liked.

Letter of Disassociation
by Maryjane ini walked away from the jw religion nearly 9 years ago after "waking up" to the lies & mind games.
since then i've learned the full extent of the manipulation (thanks to websites such as this & the coc book)and have successfully overcome the emotional & spiritual crisis that i experienced the first few years after my departure.
i can say that i am at a place in my life now where i am happy, spiritually fulfilled and religion-free!

If you decide to write to individuals, you will have a better chance of people reading it. However, timing is of upmost importance. If an Elder should get a copy, they will immediately call everyone and tell them to destroy the letter without opening it.
So, if you were to mail it, say on a Sunday night, so that most would get it on Tuesday, this would be better. In the future when they discontinue the Tuesday night book study, mailing on a Sunday night or a Monday morning would be great. Or you could possibly mail it on a Thursday, and they would get it Friday or Saturday.

A lot of Sisters in our Circuit used to wear gold pins on their lapels that said.......THEOCRACY. I don't know what they paid for them, but someone was making some money.
Of course a lot of brothers made money off the congregations with these 'get rich quick' scams. To many to mention them all. What were some of them in your area?
