  "my husbands religious beliefs are ruining our family" is the topic.

  i"m not home when it airs on cbs in the afternoon so i watch a rerun on ch 55 here in nyc at 8pm.

  i have my cable box all set to switch over at the appropriate time..

  maybe some of you remember me, maybe not.

  for general information i am now 19 years old, and living by myself.

  for the past 1 year (more like 1.5 years) i have been quietly fading out of the hypocrisy of this organization, but since i still live in the town i grew up in it has been hard, and filled with different challenges.

  Singing todays WT

  the jist was that we all should sing.

  then the first 6 or 8 paragraphs describe how early bible accounts have trained and set aside musicians to do the singing while everyone else listened.. the songs they have put out have no soul, rhythm, or soothing melodies as a whole.

  the old hymns are some real music, even if you don't agree with the "teachings".. there is no admission of poetry using archaic language at times for affect or to add to the rhyme, they have to have everything agree with the grey bible.. anyone speak foreign languages?

  The best thing for them to do is to do is to open-source the music. Let people from the rank and file make contributions and keep what works.

  But then...it's a cult. They have to micromanage it.

  Anointed Delusions of Grandeur

  so here is something i've been wondering about.

  how do the 'anointed' come to the conclusion that they are chosen?

  is it some weird collective delusion of grandeur and how is it manifested in such ones?.

  One professed anointed pioneer lady in my area seemed not quite all there.

  But on the other hand, another "anointed" brother did not seem mentally "unbalanced". He was a nice, down to earth person. He had lost his vision, but gave talks and was quite capable. Of course, at the time, I saw him through rose-colored glasses and I was someone starstruck at his "anointedness".

  I don't wonder about those who are mentally imbalanced in some way...but I do wonder about those who are in apparent normal mental health, those who are not narcissistic, at why they believe they are specially called.
