Maybe this admission opens the door for them to make some changes. Maybe.

Australian Royal Commission, March 2017 & the February 2017 Watchtower
by Londo111 inthe february 2017 watchtower says: “the governing body is neither inspired nor infallible.
therefore, it can err in doctrinal matters or in organizational direction.”.
could this frank admission be a prelude to any fallout to australian royal commission’s recommendations in march 2017?.

If I'm not mistaken, not every JW gets to do carts. Only if approved by the elders. Usually pioneers. The rank and file still have go door to door.

Easy time. Back when I was a JW, you could only count time in pairs (door-to-door, business, street witnessing, Bible studies).
This is like some sort of joke: How many JWs does it take to watch a cart?

Exactly: if the group officially practices shunning leave takers, it is a cult.

Witnesses illusion that they have their OWN conscience!! What a joke! Examples.
by Witness 007 inwitnesses always claim to have a "bible trained conscience" yet they are really just watchtower robots who cant piss without checking with an elder or watchtower.
an elder who cuts hair was scared when i asked for a bald buzz cut since my hair was receding and grey.
he actually rang a bethel elder to see if this was okay watchtower wise!

I remember on the shaved head rule...if you were black it was okay, but if you were white, it wasn't, even if that person was balding.

Nearly every presidential election was going to lead to the governments to turn on "false religion" and the Big A.
4 to 8 years from now, JWs will forget all about what they said, and speculate how the new president will get the ball rolling.

UK TV: The Fastest Growing Branch of Chistianity in UK Today
by darkspilver inpentecostalism is now the largest christian faith in london.
what is it about this rapidly growing religion that makes it so appealing?.
black-majority pentecostal churches in particular are one of the big success stories of the black community in britain.

Charismatic churches are all about emotion...and they promise miracles.
One Pentecostal schoolmate said to me, "Don't think. Just believe."
Charismatic/Pentecostals are much more extreme than 'evangelicals'. Many charismatic churches are cult-like to almost the same degree JWs are...at the very least, they aren't as boring.

So the governing body is NOT inspired...are they still "spirit directed"?
by NikL inokay there has been lots of buzz about the feb 2017 wt where they say the governing body is not inspired nor infallible.
yet, they are still using the baptism questions.
the second one being... "do you understand that your dedication and baptism identify you as one of jehovah’s witnesses in association with god’s spirit-directedorganization?".

If Watchtower theology were true, then the stakes for recognizing God's channel have never been higher. In the first century, if people didn't recognize the inspired apostles, they would come back in the 1000 years. But if people don't recognize the uninspired Governing Body, it means eternal destruction (which Anthony Morris will assist in).
If the stakes are that high, why aren't the Governing Body inspired in this time of all times?
