doesnt sound symbolic, however since a 1,000 (human) years to us is 1 day to god, any proof that the 1,000 year reign will actually be 1,000 human years and not 1,000 god years?

Doesn't sound symbolic? So you mean one day to God in the literal sense is exactly 1,000 revolutions of the earth around the sun? Does this mean God is confined by space and time? If so, what caused the Big Bang?

I'm not trying very hard at all. Those questions popped into my head immediately after reading his comments.

DJS is making the argument that in this hypothetical world, the population would not die off because they would use surrogates to sustain the population. I'm asking legitimate questions that are directly related to his argument.

So in this imaginary world where the majority of the population is gay, does this also mean that the majority of these surrogate children being born will also be gay as well?

Will all the surrogates be adopted children from the minority of the population that is heterosexual? Or will the gay parents actually have sex with someone other than their gay partner with someone of the opposite sex to have children who are blood relatives?

Will the majority of the population be blood relatives to their legal parents?

I'm trying to imagine this world here.

I can imagine they would provide cash incentivies to straight couples to have as many children as possible and pay surrogates handsomely.

So basically, the minority heterosexuals could just make their careers and livings off of having babies and giving them up for adoption? Would any thought be given to the fact that children in this world are basically treated as pieces of property to be sold?

Would there be enough of these minority surrogate mothers willing to participate in the practice of giving their babies up for adoption to sustain the population indefinitely?

If you actually read my posts you would see that I never made any moral or ethical statements saying that people should or shouldn't engage in certain activities. I was only stating my opinion that if a species became primarily homosexual, that species would eventually die out due to a decline in reproduction combined with other factors.

i would like some advice from those that are inpartial, and are familiar with the teachings of jw.

i studied with a wonderful jw couple weekly for 3 years.

We never studied from the WT or Awake. Stictly from the Bible. Which I love! We usually have a topic that comes to mind in conversation and go with it. As for the "What does the Bible really teach" we really haven't gotten far in it. About halfway.

That's strange. They usually try to get you studying their publications as soon as possible.

Well I was going to attempt to respond with an intelligent answer, so I did a search on my iPhone: "do animals have sex with pregnant females in nature," but I died laughing when I clicked on the answers.com result. Thought I'd share it with you. If I'm the only one who found this funny, maybe it's because I'm drunk tonight. I personally found it hilarious, since these are serious questions from real people:

Q: If you have sex with a dog, can you get pregnant?
A: No, you cannot get pregnant from a dog nor can you get a dog pregnant. Please get off the computer it is dangerous to you.

Q: Can your girlfriend get pregnant if a dog had sex with her?
A: No. Though it should be noted that such relationships are illegal in many places and present several health risks.

Q: Can you have sex with pregnant dog?
A: Can you? Yes. Should you? No.

Q: Can you get pregnant if you have sex with a hot-dog?
A: Being the most superior human specie on the planet, why are you asking veto nary category question? If dog is bothering you, avoid them.

A: It depends if they are spayed. This usually implies the bitch (female), as it is believed that even if a male is neutered, its sperm can be active for a while.

i am thinking of sending a simple fb message to all of the jws i know.. "jwfacts.com" with the tag line, "you're in a cult.".

my motivation?

i am disturbed about the fact that these people that pretended to be friends look at me with a negative eye and have no clue as to how they abandoned my girls and i in a desperate time of need over the course of this past year.
