And when they pray they are inserting or are aware of these words while praying : not mine but Your will be done .If someone asked for something and it didn't happen the prayer of that person was answered : God's will was not to give that thing to that person.

by anonymous4 inhad a good look into the doctrine, beliefs and practices of jws and to be honest, i don't really see anything wrong with it at all.. it's biblical and i've had such an eye opener the past year or so reading some of their books and magazines .
is there really any real reasons why i shouldn't want to get involved further?

The Bible is the most complex book in the world to study . There is no person in the world that got all things right from the Bible the first time around . First time around ? Hundreds times around ! Just listen to the news about car makers how they produce faulty cars after so many years of experience ?! With learning from the Bible it may be even worse !
You should learn also how any organization function to stay alive . Jehovah's Witnesses must be very well organized on strict discipline as they have many enemies around who are interested in their downfall .
Just read the story about the Soviet Russia how it stayed afloat having enemies all around.
Any public dissent,known to authorities - could have meant execution or sending to a labor camp usually .How many people Stalin killed ?!
The Watchtower did not kill you . If you don't want to be with them you can be like me . I am an independent christian all the way now and don't belonging to the Jehovahs Witness organization but I am not opposing themas I see them as the best christian organization decisively.

This is my impression I am getting on this discussion forum . The knowledge you should have to justify leaving the organization should be brilliant , awe-inspiring to those who hear you . Just tune in to Open Forum program by Harold Camping from http://www.familyradio.com and learn how that old man of 89 years thinks in religious terms ! He opposes Jehovah's Witnesses but I am not ;yet I am learning many things from Harold Camping .

How long did it take you to get rid of your WTS library & literature?

Basically right now at this time I am not reading Jehovahs Witness literature as I am going on my indpendent road and like listening to Harold Camping with his Open Forum program . He is now the only one for me to tune in and listen I put him on the first place on radio and he is the only one Bible preacher on radio I conisider seriously and am learning from him as my best opponent . I am siding with Jehovah's Witnesses while Harold Camping is against all organized churches. Most likely he would be against you too.
Yet ,due to the fact Jehovah's Witnesses are the only true christian congregation it may be that the interest in their literature will arrive or be revived.
No question the International Bible Students Association revived the defunct christianity in 1878 AD - 1921 AD.
These dates are associated with them : 1878 AD,1879 AD,1884 AD,1914 AD - 1918 AD - 1921 AD.
These dates are the exact copy of these dates:
8 BC,7 BC,2 BC,29 AD - 33 AD - 36 AD when Jesus and his disciples lived and taught a new religion that was commonly opossed.
Jehovah's Witnesses continue the tradition of the watchtower ( name ) and are a legitimate successors .

Read 1 Thessalonians 5.1-3. You are kidding yourself . Matthew 24.45-50 ; Revelation 3.3 ;Luke 12.39:
to watch a goodman must know the hour .Read in carefully this verse and it is distorted under the influence of the next verse which implies the opposite as it is misunderstood. There cannot be contradictions in the Bible.
The fact we can die any day is enough to be watchful and ready .So why do we have the signs given in the Bible and must watch for them ?

The Tetragrammaton...And The Inserted Vowels
by titch infor any and all persons who may have been associated with jehovah's witnesses in the past (or currently), you have probably read, or heard information about the origin of the name "jehovah.
" as explained by witnesses, and even other religious groups, the name jehovah is merely the anglicized (or, english-language) version of the so-called "divine name.
" the thinking is that in the original hebrew language, the "divine name" was originally represented by these four english consonants: jhvh; some persons think that it might have been yhvh.

This is a simple principle which is not well known by many people.
My native language is Polish and by taking vowels from words I can recreate the same words by pronouncing consonants that are left from these words .
wtorek , stolica , kabaret are in the Polish after taking vowels we get : wtrk,stlc,kbrt .
By uttering these consonants : wtrk,stlc,kbrt I can restore the full words !
It is the same principle in the Hebrew language and there might be some other languages.
YHWH . Y is like I and W like V.
YHWH when pronunciated individually give automatically missing sounds as it is the case with the Polish language .
YHWH is like YAHWEH ( iahveh ) it is written like Yahweh but it is pronounced in the Englicized way . It would sound strange in the English language if I told you how to pronounce the name .
Most Americans will pronunce my Polish name correctly so I recognize the way the prononouce my name so it is with God.
Yahweh that is pronounced by Americans is not fully correct yet accepted by God due to the nature of the English language.
When pronounicing YHWH we can hear also YaHVeH or YaHVaH which is Yehovah or Yahavah .
Here we see Yehovah . In German J is like Y . In the English which is linked to German J is like spoken like J ( another form of pronunciation ).
In my Polish native language God's name is Jahwe or Jehowa which is very close to the proper pronunciation of YHWH .
It is very interesting that my native language so closely relates to the Hebrew Tetragrammaton .
In the English language the two names that I gave above would sound strangely .They must be adjusted to the nature of the English language.
So we can wriet YAHWEH and pronunced like Americans do the same with Jehowah ( Jehovah ) .
And it happens that in the English language missing vowels are "a " and " e " which can relate to Adam and Eve ( A and E which are the first letters of first human beings ).
So, Jehovah's Witnesses carry God's name in acceptable way !

i've had a jw comming to my home for quite a while just stopping by, and she finally convinced me to agree to a "bible study".

Jesus appeared spiritually in the period 1879 AD - 1914 AD and it was a revival of the true christian religion.
BUt the real second coming of Jesus is expected in 2011 AD. September 28 is the best date .Harold Camping of http://www.familyradio.com has May,21,2011 AD as 100% sure for Jesus' coming .
