i remember how much emphasis the org used to put on studying your publications, and how looking at other peoples books during the meeting was like seeing a lazar show with bright, hot, multicolored, florescent highlighted pages.
but i never personally enjoyed studying (even when i was more hardcore in it) so since i used to have privileges/responsibilities one of the requirements was to study for all the meetings, so before the meetings i would take a hot yellow and florescent blue marker and quickly just start marking up my books so that it looked like it was studied.
sometimes to look even more spiritual i would take a pen and start writing random crap in the margins, even scribble lines so from far away it looked likes cursive.
arrrrrrgh,,,i was so dissapointed with my (x) hubby not studying mags, let alone reading them or ever speaking to any of us in a spiritual mode..............
that i would underline his watchtower for him,,,after i had studied with the 4 kids the night before,
guess what happened,,yep,,they made him a ministerial servant hahhahhaahhahah

inspired by greendawn's cheese thread, i thought i would ask if anyone enjoyed baking the occasional loaf of bread.. i recently stumbled over a blog - farmgirl fare .

employing my ninja training soas to avoid being recognized as not a farmgirl, i read a paean to one of the easiest of all breads - baking soda beer bread.. it is simple: 3 cups of flour, one cup of your favorite grated cheese, one tablespoon of sugar, one tablespoon of baking powder, and one teaspoon of salt, mixed quickly with 12 oz of beer and plopped into a standard one pound (4" x 9") loaf pan, cooked for about 50 minutes at 375 degrees f.. (all measurements are in "american.").

i do not understand,,why would god give you the experience of holy spirit, yet ignore those in down trodden countries, ie africa,,,ethopia, etc
why would he choose to give you the 'experience' yet not help a child, say dying of cancer, or feed the hungry children? just my issue with god at the moment

at the advanced age of 53, i got braces on my teeth.
the bummer is, my teeth are not even crooked.
i still have two baby teeth (my eye teeth) and the permanent ones are still up there.
oh i think you are so lucky,,my btm teeth are so bad, crooked,,,,had braces as a child,,guess they went where they wanted to anyway:(
