  i relished the half hour silence they'd give you to "write down your answers", time i spend doodling or thinking up cool song lyrics..

  Unquestionably (in the US), the 'business model' of the WT, for lack of a better term, has changed dramatically in the last ten years. Many long time congregations, with their own paid-for halls, have been dissolved. This is not because of low attendance necessarily, but because the WT is trying to manage the KH usage efficiently so they can sell property and use the money elsewhere. At the same time, there are pre-groups, groups, and congregations in the foreign language fields that consist of mostly the English speakers who have transferred from their own congregation into the newly created foreign language congregation. For these reasons I am cautious to read too much into the change in number of congregations from year to year.

  my brother has been talking about the earth being flat and some big conspiracy going on to make people beieve otherwise.

  There were canals and water channels back at the time that allowed transport of the large stones for the pyramids. It all looks like a desert now, but things have changed, a lot.

  QFR - Posting JW publications on a personal website/social media

  the following is a qfr from the april, 2018 watchtower.

  just a couple of articles back the organization was explaining how jws need to be encouraging and even when admonishing congregations jesus would start out with encouraging words.

  we see none of this in the qfr, rather, it is heavy handed and legally incorrect.. why is it not permissible to post publications of jehovah’s witnesses on a personal website or on social media?.

  Do the flat earthers believe the other planets are flat too? You can see the moons around Saturn even with a relatively low power telescope. It’s pretty obvious that both the planet and moons are round spheres.

  i thought the flat earth conspiracy theory was strange but ive just read an article about a new conspiracy theory that the earth is hollow and that its a paradise there and 8 foot tall intellectually advanced aliens live there who send space ships out every so often to check on mankind.

  apparently lost viking colonies and nazis that fled there after world war 2 are living there immortally 🤣🤣 .

  this world just gets better and better 🤣🤣🤣🤣.

  Maybe we can use hollow earth theory to disprove the flat earth theory, and vice versa. Solves two problems at once!
