  in the list of what years are covered by each book, genesis is listed as from.

  at the 42:30 minute mark she states "i cannot believe it crossed my mind...to look on jw dating sites".

  guess a new unwritten rule is added to the many oral traditions of these pharisees.

  i just went to a convention in mazatlan, mexico.. i had wanted to do this for a very long time, it left me shaken a bit (because i had a confrontation of sorts with one jw who recognized me), but i got some stats that give some insight into the borg.

  it really is crumbling, even in the places where they have arguably had the best, wildest success in the world: mexico.. just so you can see how much they have success in mexico compared to the us or anywhere else:.

  In the US English conventions, the percent of baptized to attendees is closer to 0.5%, about half the Figures from Mexico. And the US is not getting the relatively high number of 18-40 age group. Majority there is under 20. As slow as Mexico is showing, U.S. Is slower

  This belief about Hebrew was taught back in the sixties, then they went to the interpretation that the 'pure language' was truth, and not a literal language. Now it looks like they've done another flip-flop.

  The original article in the NY Times is very clear that it was Woodson who was a JW when younger, not Pres. Carter. She seems to speak favorably of the experience. The ChristianPost article is simply wrong.

  Elderly sister disgusted with obscene Bethel 'Happy Song'

  it is reported that one elderly sister in british columbia expressed complete disgust at what she considered an obscene act in the bethel 'happy song'.

  now everything is, of course, subject to perspective.

  i would imagine her perspective is just as valuable as anyone elses.

  There is a lot of sexual imagery in advertising and art. If the video had been choreographed then the elderly woman may have had a point about the chain saw. However, it is probably not planned, so it is not something to make a deal about. Looks dangerous though, as a saw like that has a lot of sharp blades on the chain.

  The JWs are growing in some third world countries at a much higher rate than in the Western countries. What will happen in time is a movement away from the U.S. to other parts of the world. The problem is that there is little or no money there and it becomes an issue of financing rather than numbers of adherents. The WT faces the problem of trying to finance the world evangelizing while their traditional breadbasket (US primarily) is drying up.
