Witness Carts - A Vehicle for Significant Decline

i was stalking to a jw today about her recent experience on the carts and with being a jw generally.

until this conversation i considered the carts as just an ineffective preaching method and a harmless waste of time.

but now i wonder if the effect of the carts might be to produce noticeable decline in jw numbers.

I never did the cart witnessing, but as an introvert, I can say that I detested the door to door ministry. Totally draining. I wonder if a person's personality may make the difference in whether or not the cart witnessing is enjoyable or not.

learned how to live on beans

With the ministry school speaking assignments disappearing, I really wonder where they will get accomplished speakers for Sunday talks. It's bad enough now, the next generation can only get worse.

many years back, before ex-jw websites, i called on a local lady in order to design an extension to her already enormous house.

she was a young, voluptuous gal, married to a much older local business man who spared little expense in order to give his young wife whatever her heart desired.. we chatted for ages.

It was common knowledge in Ohio , I recall. Ray had been a pioneer in our area in the 40's and came back to give talks ( KH dedications etc).
