  Well another one leaves the Borg.

  i took a quick trip to the store and i happened to see a young man (about 26-28 years old) who got baptized about the same time i was leaving- about 2 years ago.

  a couple of pioneer sisters found him in the door to door work.

  one of them, a very attractive girl.

  in my area, a lot of the young jws, especially girls are getting breast implants, nose jobs, chin implants.

  asian jws girls get eyelid surgery, and one girl even got her legs lengthen 5 inches making her about five feet nine inches tall the male jws are getting hair transplants and nose jobs.

  and nobody in the congregation says a word, including elders.

  Wow, I never heard of that. Why on earth would someone want to do that? So, how tall will she be in the new order? And do nose jobs go back to their original form?

  at our meeting last night there was a talk about having run out of magazines for the last three months.

  it's expected this will continue to happen.

  the "branch" has not sent the requested number of magazines.

  $17.00 seems like a high price point. In addition, why is there no Kindle version? I see a lot of exJW books out there, and have often wondered if the writers make enough money to justify the effort.

  im here sitting and listening to youtube video songs and practicing on my guitar and checking out posts on jwn.

  and one more thing, im seeing the spanish jws going door to door in my street.

  they work my street every single week.

  I live in midtown Manhattan so the probability of seeing a d2d witness is slim to none. When I see the carts I feel sad and angry.

  Are You "Technically" Still A Jehovah's Witness?

  even if you don't regard yourself as a practicing jw, some may view you simply as inactive, a lost sheep, etc.. if you were baptized but not disfellowshipped or disassociated, you may still be a jw---right?

  As far as I know I was never disfellowshipped. So, I guess that if I entered a KH I would be welcomed - however there is the issue of my beard and no necktie. So, I doubt I will be asked to say the opening prayer.

  basically, from what i can tell from the new return to jehovah brochure, is that the governing body is now offering amnesty to anyone who has been gone from the congregation but now wants to return.. it claims it doesn't matter what sins you've done, or what caused you to leave, if you repent to jehovah and ask the elders to help you, and return to the meetings, you'll be warmly welcomed with no disciplinary action or judgment against you..
