  Wow, I just watched the video. I had to listen with headphones on as I would never let my kids even overhear that kind of silly nonsense.

  Wow!!! He's full of it. I've never met any of these guys but I have met members of the UK bethel at funerals and so on and they all seem so detatched and vacant.

  I'd probably interpret most of his 'oddness' as insincerity. They know they are bullshiting everyone and it makes them uncomfortable even if they are very accomplished at hiding it.

  Simply put, They can't believe people still believe it after all this time and all those failed prophesies.

  Also, don't they (GB) appear to be getting younger?

  yes, I've been looking forward to the year 2014 for about 20 years as I have always believed it would prove them to be the liars that they are (not that we need proof, common sense will do nicely).

  However, as mentioned earlier, I do not now think it will make any difference to them. They are brainwashed and the only hope they have will come from within their own selves. Nothing else will make a difference but we all live in hope.

  I do indeed hope to see the WT$ 'melt down' in my lifetime and maybe 2014 will have a share in this.

  i had tears in my eyes at work today.

  there was an arbor day celebration and some teenagers had some speeches and they planted a tree...most people would not be as touched by the events today as i was but one of the women recieving an award said that she was proud of these children because they were doingsomething good for the communtiy...and i was proud of them too, but i was sad for jw's who would think these children are "bad" just because they are not witnesses...or the jw who would not let their children associate with these teenagers or even be part of a "wordly" club..that's what made me sad, all those years i missed looking at the little beautiful things in life in a positive light and not the negative debbie downer way jw's look at things..

  Reasoning From the Scriptures - are they working on an update?

  secondly, is anyone here aware of an update, due to the changing of the doctrine, this book is starting to become sprinkled with 'old light'........

  CO Visits... Are elders honest about the TRUE state of the congregation?

  this question is really for elders or ex-elders (or ministerial servants in the know).... did you find that some elders would tend to "white-wash" the true state of the congregation when they had their sit-down with the co every 6 months?.

  did some elders feel pressure to hide certain things from a co for fear of being "removed" from the boe?.

  (judging by the "fakeness" that some elders displayed during co visits, i have to wonder whether they were really worried about being removed for not seeking out inactives or encouraging more participation during the wt study, book study or fs...).

  even before awakening from the mind control my mind would plague me with doctrine defying logic.

  i'd like to share some of my self explanatory questions here.

  every time i'd ask jw's these questions they would give me bs answers like we will have to wait on jehovah to tell us in the new system or some other lamo thinking stopper.

  let's call it what it is - disagreeing with the watchtower bible and tract society after baptism into the cult.

  in no way is the literal definition of the word "apostasy" applicable to what the cult is using the word for.

  it is a buzz word that scares the crap out of the rank and file and keeps them from communicating with those who have become enlightened about the cults lies.. we here on jwn have accepted the wt label, "apostates", with a sense of humor, such as calling our get togethers apostafests, etc.. but we are actually the "enlightened"..

  They have hijacked the word apostasy in the same way that they have hijacked the name Jehovah and the bible in general.

  Just because you hijack something it does not mean that you own it.

  They have their own fantasy world I am sure.
