That is such good news. I hadn't heard. Thanks for the update.
This was so disgusting. I couldn't imagine any reputable company sponsoring it.

Suggestions for a cranky, stressed husband....all suggestions welcome.....
by restrangled inmy poor guy is crabbier than hell.
i have kept him well fed, but it doesn't seem to do the trick.
i am calling on all men out there to tell me what to do and i know sex is an answer too, but is there anything in addition to this you guys wish for when work/life is stressing you out?.

When my husband is like that, I rub his shoulders. Tension in his neck and back make him a bear.
Make his favorite dinner and dessert.
And sex for sure.
Don't try to make him talk about it. Maybe he needs some alone time too.

This is so huge.
by La Capra inwhen i was four, i believed that my life could be painfully and tortuously taken from me, in a ball of flame, crashing down from the heavens, just while i sitting down to a bowl of oatmeal in the morning.. when i was nine, i believed that my life, as i then knew it, would be drastically altered, that i would be tortured for being a jw, and after suffering for who knows how long, i would die (because i still hadn't lived up to jehovah's expectations).. when i was 13, i wanted to be a nuclear physicist-because it sounded cool, but in the meantime i believed that i would die in armageddon because i wanted to go to college, get really educated, and have a great, "worldly" life.. when i was 15, i felt guilty that i hoped armageddon would never come, because i so desperately wanted to go to college.. when i was 17, i was offered an honors early admissions in a prestigious program in a highly regarded engineering program.
my mother flat out said, "no!".
when i was 18, i scuttled semi-secretly to the local university, part-time, trying to hide my daily activities without actually lying to anyone.. when i was 19 i quit pretending and disassociated.

I suggest you honor HER wishes. Remember it's her life, her choice.
My mother is 94, and a JW. She knows I would never countermand her decisions. It makes for a very nice relationship. It was something she worried about for a long time, because my brother is a militant ex JW, and made it clear he would let them give her blood if anything happened that required it. I was able to change his mind.
I wouldn't want her to be in the position to make that decision for me, so I do what I would want her to do. Let the person choose for themselves.

I have this saying over my desk, as a constant reminder.
I HAVE MORE RESPECT FOR PEOPLE WHO CHANGE THEIR VIEWS AFTER ACQUIRING NEW INFORMATION THAN FOR THOSE WHO CLING TO VIEWS THEY HELD THIRTY YEARS AGO. THE WORLD CHANGES. IDEOLOGUES AND ZEALOTS DON'T.
So, I completely agree with you. While I tend to be somewhat of an atheist, I just don't know what is the real truth, so I am open to new information. I believe Jesus was a great philosopher, well worth following. I try to live by his teachings, even though I absolutely do not believe he was divine in any sense. (no more than Dr. Phil, who is also a great philosopher)

it had a bumper sticker that said "caution!
in case of rapture this vehicle will be un-manned".. i told my wife that i would jump out and take over the trailblazer and she could drive our car back home.

I think it might be hereditary. I long for the times I could sleep and sleep and sleep.
If you are in bed all the time you are awake, you are probably sleeping some of that time. My mother has told me many times that she didn't sleep a wink for several nights. She can't function at all (of course she is 94 and pretty much an invalid anyway) but if a person doesn't sleep for days, they have hallucinations and other mental problems.
Try the calcium at bedtime. Don't eat anything after 7 PM. Blood sugar issues can keep you awake too, and eating raises blood sugars.
