Our neighbour years ago was a window cleaner. My mum window cleaner and carpenter is JW. When I went to a party with "her" most of the males were window cleaners.

It's very true cedars, honesty is the best way forward.. I would like to expose her as a fraud. Are these tactics something like how she was snared up with the JWs in the first place?
How can someone bring the good news to people across the globe whilst they are acting deceptively?.
The boy wants to live with me and if I could influence things to do it I would let him stay. I really do not want him to become a servant to the WT working for free teling a falsehood for the rest of his life.

Anyone who makes out they are a victim is a coward! Sorry,... that is a generalisation however my ex partner is a deceiver and a liar and she is a self proclaimed "I am an honest JW- I don't lie" .
I have for the last few months, after seeing my ex partner move out, after deceiving the housing authorities to give her a house as 'according to her' I wanted her out. Actually this wasn't true. I offered her to take over the tenancy agreement for the house that I walked out of. Nope! Jehovah will provide a better residence (which she got by being decietful).
I have struggled with her, on many occations as she trys to find a reason to start an arguement which includs, shouting, pushing me out of her new house (after repairing many things including laying floors).
Now I have found that when she says that my boy, who I go and collect is having guest..... it is a secret,... it's no-one or nothing special but she does this in front of my son and make a point of telling this with me there. Tonight he wanted to come around mine, she said no, they're have guests again. This made him excited at the thought of having someone to play with. I got a phone call from him later on, there were no children, just 2 adults and he was fed up.. I felt his dissapointment. He got his mother to the phone, who didn't really want to talk to me. I explained to her that he was dissapointed and that he did want to come and stay around mine so, like usual, I could take him to school the next morning. Her answer was,...."well aren't I allowed guests" in an arrogant tone before throwing the phone down
Point being that she decived him into staying with her with the promise of some guests of his own age. I thought deception was part of Satans snare? Aren't JWs supposed to set a good example?..I think mental strain is showing or was that the theocratic warefare leaking out.
Anyway, for those who have been through simular, what can I do to deal with this?? Perhaps a camera pointed at her will make her think twice?

Hi Wasblind.... . My ex goes to the KH to feel better and i think this is a drug to her as she is a feeler rather than a thinker. The repetion possibly is lke listening to a favourite record. For me it's like hearing nails drawn across a blackboard and try to avaoid it at all costs.

yes i am a non believer but also very concerned that his mother, an active & obsessed jw is filling his mind with this sort of thing.
alarm bells are ringing in my head because last night was not the first time he said it.

It is amazing how the information is wrapped up in mummys little love bombs....all the WT inspried words are wrapped up nicely when she teaches him (away from me obviously) however I am doing the same thing by having fun and joking with him.
. As pointed out early by a kind comment earlier, the boy cuts through all the bullcrap and says it how it is. I got tired of trying to get explainations out of her so I will be devious and a trickster. No doubt she thinks that I am influenced by Satan (not that I believe in that sort of thing)....however I am learning to adapt to their love bombing and twisting.

If solid proof were suddenly found that the Book of Enoch should be included in the standard Bible, would that pose a problem for the Jehovah's Witnesses in regards to Michael the Archangel as Jesus?
by I_love_Jeff inif the book of enoch (elaborates and gives mention to 6 more archangels) suddenly became part of the bible due to solid evidence, how would this effect the shakey jw doctrine of michael the archangel as being jesus?
there are six other archangels mentioned in this book; could it be possible, if included in the jw bible, that one of the other archangels could be jesus?
would they excuse it somehow and simply stick with their implicit understanding of jesus=michael?.

Something that always puzzled me about the JWs claims to be akin to the 1st century christians. I understand by watching factual documentaries produced by the BBC that the bible editing was decided upon and cannonised in the 4th Century but before then there were many Christian sects, disjointed groups and many more books around that the groups used before Constantine decided the babble was to be standardised and enforced. Did I miss out a part somewhere or was the NWT actually written in the fist century AD ??. (smirks at the though of the WT claims to this)

Hi Diest,.. I was made aware that many courts do not want to tangle with religious affiars. Getting the courts involved if it is against the Watchtower you know they will use what ever is possible to win a court case if it is against them. Isn't comforting to know that they also have free legal assistance too compared to my poxy legal aid and unskilled laywers who know very little or nothing aboout the Jehovahs Witnesses. Touchy thing going after ones religious beliefs especially as the WT like to brag about beating secular persecution through the courts.
There is no way around the walls she has erected in her mind or any amount of persuation that is going to remove the watchtower blinkers from her head so I am playing it softly softly at the moment. New statement from my lad is,... " Mum hates you because you don't read the bible..." The word hate being the most active part of this statement. However she is particularly friendly at the moment.... I am just trying to spend as much time with him so she gets less contact time. It is working. He likes Star Wars at the moment so this is a good opportunity to point out to him that the future is looking bright for humanity by empasising the most probable outcome for us and our decendants is the human population spreading across the universe.

Protesters at conventions / assemblies...
by garyneal infirst off, i can happily say that this year i did not attend a single day at this years district convention.. on saturday during the convention, my wife asked me to drop her off after lunch and later pick her up when the convention was over.
while i was dropping her off, i noticed a single individual holding picket signs protesting the convention.
it said things like, "was the ransom sacrifice worth it?
