  Did Bethel Really let 900 rescue workers...

  ...stay in their facilities?.

  my sister just called me, with the idea of 'comforting' me wt style (bad idea *lol*) i shut her down by saying "i respect that these are your religious views, but they are not mine.

  " that managed to shut her up finally.. before that, though she volunteered this info, i was wondering if anyone can confirm it?.

  if i might reply to the original question, the WTs press release video mentions 850-900 people being fed in the dining room altogether, the majority of which, i think everyone agrees, were WT tourists. why would 900 rescue workers be way on the other side of the river anyways? were there even that many rescue workers on the scene? i think this is another urban legend in the making. bits of truth combined and twisted. next thing, one of the firefighters will have been so impressed by bethel he accepted a study and came into the truth and is now a circuit overseer.

  Anglo-American Dual World Power

  the wts use to speak a great deal about the seventh head of the wild beast in revelation as being the two-horned dual anglo-american world power of great britain and the usa.

  also, the society applied the symbolic two-horned lamb beast to the uk and usa.. now, considering this .... .

  just who has proven to be the wild beast on tuesday, 9-11?

  even more humorous than the common interpretation of the USA as a kind of a minor offshoot of the UK is the interpretation of the statue in Daniel 2 and the beast in Daniel 7 where the WHOLE world power is actually ROME! Of which the UK is an 'offshoot' and the USA an 'offshoot' of that.

  Of course, studying these prophecies like in the daniel book, the amount of discussion and extra verbiage as these verses are discussed has the effect of lengthening and seperating the elements of what may be a single verse in Daniel so that it appears the prophecy is actually discussing the millenia of history from rome to usa. but when god steps in to kick some ass, its actually ROME he attacks according to WT interpretation. figure THAT out! bet you americans didnt know youre basically just a roman colony, eh?

  Dan 7:11 Then I continued to watch because of the boastful words the horn was speaking. I kept looking until the beast was slain and its body destroyed and thrown into the blazing fire.

  according to WT, the beast is ROME and only the horn is UK (USA) so how much sense does it make that the beast and body are the final targets of gods judgement?

  hey proplog. i was thinking of you and your long history of prophetic interpretation centered on the US this past week. i was sure that this would be the signal you were looking for and that you would make good on your oft-repeated promise to get out of the mainland US when you saw it.

  just curious why you seem to have waffled now. are you at least packing?

  within the past week a couple was found dead in their home here in.

  southern osaka japan.the couple was in their 50`s and the husband was.

  the elder in a congregation in a city named kishiwada.the husband.

  Planes just a diversion... Ambulances had bombs.

  i feel pretty sure about this, that the planes were just a diversion set to allow emergency vehicles easy access to the basement parking lot.

  eye witnesses placed a large explosion just before the south building came down.

  one thing is sure, the buildings did not come down as a result of the planes hitting them or any explosions due to that.

  at first i thought there mustve been an exposion at the base too but a second, clearer piece of footage made it appear that the top several floors of the 2nd building, just above the impact, fell from the structural damage and that collapsed the entire building.

  still cant believe there is no world trade center.

  do you remember when you were a beleiving jw and you heard of some catastrophy?.

  i remember feeling sick because on one hand i wanted the death count to be as high as possible to prove we were in the time of the end, and on the other hand thinking how tragic, i was sick because i had such twisted thinking and i couldn't shake it.. did anyone else feel that way when you were a jw?.

  if not how did you feel about these things?.

  nyt: im just trying to come to grips with my feelings. i think DWs comments about excitement mixed with horror are very familiar. the WOL thread was mentioned elsewhere. i hope your comments are not a slight at me. i would consider that totally unwarranted.

  this is a very good decription of the strange feelings of duality. im ashamed to admit that i fear ive not really gotten rid of them myself... anxiously waiting to hear casuality figures and not feeling the horror that i think i should... i dunno. maybe its just shock.
