Worst day in the last ten years, was the day I hit £0.00 with one and a half years of university to go. Nobody to turn to, nobody to ask for help. Nothing and nobody. I was 32 and as an ex Jw had two family members in contact with me.
I had rent. Bills, life and uni to pay for. 7 years of higher ed was at stake and the university told me they could not help me.
i had one last possession left, a motorbike. I needed it to get about, to get to the various hospitals for placements. No way I could afford a car. Beyond all this however, I LOVED my motorbike. It was my freedom, my way to let off steam. I had got to the point where I couldn't afford to ride it for pleasure, but it was my link to a real adult life in the all enveloping world of university and exams...
By 11am the next day, there was no choice, the bike was sold for 3/4 it's worth and I walked back from the dealer so melancholic. I now had nothing to my name but cash, but nowhere near enough and still everything at risk, final exams just weeks away and another year of unpaid training to go.
I promised myself I would buy a bike if I made it through everything.....
I pick it up on Saturday :D

Perfect!
I think the god of the bible is a cruel abomination, thankfully there is no evidence of his existence, if there were however, I would give up my life fighting against such an evil abhorrence.
i'm up to date with what the wt taught in 2006 but have no idea what has changed since.. do tell..

So yeah, I wrote this OP with the hope of the JW non members to sit and mull it over.
But please do carry on bickering on a different issue....
i assume you guys don't have loved ones that you hope come here every now and then.

Do you believe in Islam? There are 1.6 billion Muslims. Do you accept the pope as gods representative on earth? There are 1.2 billion Catholics. Do you accept the Hindu belief system? There are 1 billion Hindus.
By now you have to accept that these mutually exclusive beliefs with many followers prove that it is possible to be a human and hold a belief that is wrong. They can't all be right. All of these people believe they are as right as you do or once did. Some would, and have died for their beliefs. As you read this some are fighting and dying in their gods name.
Now ask yourself if it is possible for all these billions of people to be wrong, can 7 million JW's?
Can you be wrong?
What exactly have the Jw's got RIGHT. Now think of all the things they have got wrong....
Is is it POSSIBLE....... You were raised in a false religion? How could it not be.
the roller coaster ride of leaving the jw.org cult..... guilt .
fear.
anger.
