Accuracy of Bible Translation

i am trying to find out more on the translators of the jw's bible.

they claim and so it claims in the front of their bible that it was translated by experts in greek and hebrew.

what training if any did these people actually have in these ancient languages.

Are you aware of the many mistranslations, omissions and additions in the New World Translation? The DELIBERATE ones?

Also, are you aware the version with References is only available in English?

Also, Jehovah is NOT God's true name. It is an erroneous rendering.

since phobia means "afraid of", i think the term homophobia should be clarified.

to most people i would be considered homophobic, howeve, i'm not afraid of homos, i just don't like them.

I was only saying what I saw, and I could see the anger and bitterness seeping through the reply.

Christ is the source of light and I choose to represent him by teaching those who wish to learn the things He has taught me. No, he does not come to my room at night and give me private lessons, I am no one special. But if you can come here and tell everyone what you think, why can't I come here to tell others things i have discovered?

How does Christ "teach" you these things?

I have NO problem with you sharing your findings, but when you say they are God or Christ given, then you are treading on thin ice. The WTS claim their teachings are given to them from above, when clearly, they are not. There are others on this forum who also claim they are messengers of Christ.
