Can White JWs Have Mustaches?
by Space Madness insomeone mentioned in another thread that white jws can't have mustaches but black jws can.
i noticed that the only governing body member with a mustache is black.
can anyone confirm that this is an official policy?

Final post I can't come to this forum anymore!
by hoser ini have come to the conclusion that posting here and visiting this site is not healthy for me anymore.
i just get angry and upset when i read all the stories of injustice and corruption that go on in the jehovahs witness religion.
they are true no doubt, as i have personally experienced many injustices and abuses in my life from being a witness.

Interesting assumption V7. So God is selective in who he blesses with his miracles. That violates a cardinal quality of God; that of love. It would be blatantly unloving to take care of a bad back while thousands of others, who have the same trust in God are ignored.

Hi to all; Well I walked into the funeral home & it was packed with my son-in-law's family. I looked around but didn't see either my daughter or grandkids. As it was early, I wasn't even sure they were there. I talked briefly to my son-in-law & while talking, my daughter came out of a side room with my grandkids. She aimed them in my direction but made no attempt to approach me. My grandkids came over smiling. They said nothing. My son-in-law introduced me to them by my first name. They stood for just seconds, then drifted away. It was indeed short but nice to see them. I take some comfort in knowing they are smart kids. They will grow up, go to college, realize the lies & hypocrisy and then come to meet their grandfather. In the meantime, as I have always said to all & especially to myself; Live Well.......Enjoy Life.

My oldest daughter is still in the cult. I haven't seen my grandchildren in 5 yrs. My son-in-law's father died this week & the funeral is today. I'm going out of respect for him (he's not a Witness) & for a chance to see my grandkids. Wish me luck. I'll let you all know how this turns out. (It's ironic I have to wait for someone to die. I feel like a vulture.)

Do You Try To Avoid The Witnesses When You See Them?
by minimus ini think i typically don't want to be either love bombed or questioned.
i happen to see jws a lot while visiting my mom.
they don't go there with me, which works well for all concerned..

I was at my wife's uncle's home in Philly when 2 approached me. I told them I had studied many religions & found the JW's interesting but having a few flaws in their beliefs. I had a great time debating birthdays, 1914, meaning of a generation & other topics. The older of the 2 just never left the corporate mentality, but the 20 yr. old was a different story. He never said a word, but I could see him leaving with a whole new perspective. If you ever get the chance, try reverse witnessing especially with young adults. Who knows, you may even save a life.

10 Years out of the JW Organization- What I've Learned ( For what it's Worth)
by flipper in10 years ago i stopped attending jehovah's witness meetings for good.
walked out of the kingdom hall cold turkey never to return based on injustices i observed among others and myself at the hands of elders giving out not god's counsel but personal opinions as counsel .
some of them weren't even giving out wt society counsel- just personal opinions.

Was wild sex involved? How about drug usage? Did you sacrifice a goat? I know you did not. See? This has got to be ramped up a bit.

Having been out 5 yrs. & attending numerous Christmas parties & family get togethers, I can't tell you how disappointed I am. I was led to believe wild debauchery, drinking & fighting was the norm. Come on people! How is the WBTS going to scare off more people with slackers like you. I don't want to hear stories of get togethers with happy children & loving families. Never mind, I'll do it myself. I'm gonna start drinking today. Hope you're all satisfied.
