by LDH inhey all, hope you're having a great year so far.. before witnet was closed down, there was an interesting discussion regarding the fds and their failed prophecies.
i asked a question, but unfortunately there wasn't enought time to get everyone's view.. so i'll rephrase my posts, and wait to hear from y'all.. if we are so quick to say that the fds is a false prophet because of some failed prophecies (even tho they say they don't prophecy, we all know better) then how would you explain the bible book of jonah?.
a faithful prophet, jonah, followed (after much trial and tribulation to himself) jehovah's command to declare destruction on the city of nineveh.

I think you'll find a lot of support here. My bio is over on the Hello thread. Briefly, I'll just say I left a long time ago after reading Russell and Rutherford's books. No individuals "stumbled" me; their own history did.
I liked your remaks on the FDS thread. I thought your answer was the simplest, clearest, and was right on the money.

I wouldn't go far as to say my stuff was stolen, but I do believe that during the night my socks, comb, ball point pens and the remotes all rearrange themselves around the house. I can't support this with scripture, but I know it's true.

Best way to find it is to go to the top of the page and scroll to the right to "most active' and click in and when the page comes of with the topics in the order of the last post, then scroll down to "News". Good thing I'm an active witness today; you'd miss my scriptures otherwise.

I did vote, for Bush of all people, but the choices were not good. I wanted Macain in there and Bradly, but we got those two dufuses Bush and Gore. In the final bebates, I liked the VP candidate better thatn the P candidates, they were more Presidential.
Now your point about the free press is serious, however, as you point out, therefore and thusly, the internet and other forms of expression will, in my humble but accurate opinion, overcome the the problems of corporate influence. I wax long, because I am inspired by wine, but we have to get back to the important subject of gymnists, and you got my drift, their supple nature would be, I my humble opinion, very gratifying.
Now, as I mentioned before, let's just keep this between you and me. This is a very private matter not to be shared with anyone.
