so much has happened the last few days in my world.

i am handling it all very well don't worry!.

my daughter left her mothers home, so very hard to do and she has been so very brave and strong.

You can add this to your list you made a few days ago about the things you have suffered on account of this cult. Now they are abusing your daughter emotionaly and failing to follow the Bible command to provide for their own family members. What hypocrits.

he has a severe case of cellulites which has affected his neck glands.

As Jehovah's Witnesses we were led to believe that every single statement in the Bible has some deep, deep, deep hidden meaning that we need the Watchtower Society to explain to us. This is the problem here.

If they are not the Faithful and Discreet Slave, and we have proven that they are not, what does it matter? The real Faithful and Discreet Slave has not made themselves obvious. I, personally, don't worry about it at all.

A sure sign the End is Near....

the end of the month, that is, and someone apparently needs to get their hours in.... this resourceful jw (in the left side of the photo) set up shop for a few hours outside a local starbucks, with a wt and awake laid out on a table.

and i i don't think he talked to anyone the whole time he was out there (a few hours).. sure beats all that walking from door-to-door, which would likely result in a bunch of not-at-homes on a weekday: most people are at work.. (i approached him when entering, and asked him about the parable of faithful and "discreet" slave, and asked him what he thought the difference was between a parable and prophecy.

after getting a non-answer (that basically meant he didn't know), i wished him a good morning and went on my way.... .

I'll be he is just too sick and tired of ringing doorbells at this point to go door to door anymore. Probably a born in who is lurking on this site!!! ;-)

"Suggested" Donation when attending Circuit Assembly

i could have called this "fee now charged to go to circuit assembly" but i do not want to start rumours that go beyond what was actually said.

the k hall announcement encouraged attendance at the upcoming assembly day.

the elder then said that since the congregation no longer has to make a blanket donation to the assembly hall it is expected that the publishers remember their responsibility to maintain the costs.

They have put in credit card/debit card terminals at assemblies...they are saying it all...they are hurting for $$$$$.

Why Is My Sister Accusing Me Of Apostasy? (new guy here)

i don't know what an apostate really is and why someone is removed from the watchtower for this sin.. .

i have a sister in visalia california who is telling all my brothers and sisters "he is an apostate, our schizophrenic brother said so!".

HelpMeBelieve, welcome to the group. You will find more support here than you will ever find at any Kingdom Hall anywhere in the world. Time will take care of this situation. If your sister is truly the person you descibe, I wouldn't worry about what she is saying about you.
