I don´t feel so guilty anymore. Read some JWFacts and all is well.

Disgusting talk about disfellowshipped children...
by Morbidzbaby inhttp://www.archive.org/details/spirituallydeadchildren.
you have to be fucking kidding me... this is mind control at it's best.
encouraging parents to ignore their kids who have left the jw's and blaming the kids themselves for the rift that's caused.

I listened to the whole thing. Haven´t heard a talk in over a year. Started to feel guilty. Man I need to read Crisis of Conscience again. Wish I had access to it.
The scripture that got to me was the priest´s boys thrusting their stuff in Jah´s face. Why do I feel guilty?

viewing porn makes you demonised!
by highdose inor so claims every jw i've ever met.
porn also makes you turn into a sexual deviant who is likely to become a homosexual, rapist or peadofile.. .
porn has specail powers that once viewed allows the demons to get into your mind and start controling it!!.

Starting to read Crisis of Conscience....
by confuzzled777 inafter almost 2 years of being wrongfully disfellowshipped and over a year after finding this site....i am starting to read crisis of conscience.
i will not lie....i am a bit nervous as to what information i will find in the book.
i have a strong feeling that i will end up crying through most of it as i will start to see the truth about the "truth".

What I want to know IF this is such an important book....Why is it SO hard to find? Why are copies on Ebay in the hundreds of dollars? Why doesn´t Ray´s widow MAKE more of them available?
I do not get that line of thought.

"Hospitality"?
by NCO inhad to meet my parents not too long ago for some family business and while working out the time for that sunday, they said they had the meeting and then following the meeting they had "hospitality" for an hour or so.. now i've been out for going on 20 years and somewhat out of the loop.
needless to say i've never heard of that.
i've been to other churches where they have the sanctuary and then the fellowship hall where the members go and eat after the service.

My great father and I did it once for the CO. That was the last time we ever did it. His wife could not come with us as she was feeling ill. So he asked us to ask another faithful sister to eat with us to make it a foursome. We did. After dinner he ordered something to go for his wife. My father was pissed off but did it anyways. Dad wanted to take them somewhere expensive to really let the CO feel he was appreciated. The bastard.

I would have a meltdown too. Wifey and I are going to paint our bedroom. Have a handyman do it. I am going to sit there and watch him all day. Why? I have thousands of DVD´s and do not want him to help himself.

I heard the old legend that a brother gave a prayer at an assembly and the first thing he said was Good morning Jehovah. He was never allowed to pray again after that.

My observation, the "threefold cord" actually weakens a marriage
by Robert7 inso my wife and i survived leaving the jw faith together over the course of the last 4 years.
it was a wild ride for our relationship, but thankfully we are stronger than ever.
so looking back, here is my observation about the "threefold cord", at least the jw version of it.. i believe the idea of the threefold cord actually weakens a marriage, keeping it less mature.

Thanks Robert for the post. I have been faded for a year now and my marriage is MUCH happier. I married a worldly gal. I tried forcing her to meetings, using the bible to show my power etc. None of it worked and we would up fighting more and more. Since I have been out we have reconnected on a much deeper level. We have not read the Bible in a year but still pray. I thought we would divorce before and I would kick myself for not marrying a JW. Well no longer.
