  How Have you Counted your time for Pioneering?

  just woundering how have you counted your time in field service especially if you were pioneering?.

  would like to see if any of you were on the same page as i was.

  with so much to do, like reading all the watchtower and awake each month and the bible reading each week.

  Signing that piece of paper is not a vow to Jehovah.

  A vow to Jehovah doesn't include a sheet of paper. Are you insinuating that some that don't make up their time during the year are violating a vow to Jehovah? Let me tell you, that I have been in a position to authorize whether regular pioneers would be allowed to continue into the next service year . I didn't have special powers from Jehovah to do that. It was all part of the structure of the ORG. I was just part of a Service Committee. I have seen many that weren't healthy enough to get those hrs for that month that they signed for. But, it was something that made them feel good. These ones accurately reported their time whether it was short or right on. When they were short....they didn't break any vows to Jehovah.

  To put that guilt trip on people is harse, and demanding.

  Let make this point clear....I support honesty. But, what has been brought up in this post is minor things, unless I missed something.

  By the way, those prophets of old never signed a sheet that needed to be co-signed by the Service Committee, as well.

  These ones that do this are probably frustrated at working in an activity that probably is being overworked to death. They are probably tired of finding people unresponsive, or not at home. Out in the rain, snow, heat, cold. No Armaggedon in sight, no thanks, just see you next week, over, and over again. No leadership, no encouragement, no let up. They are burned out.

  The point is....Jehovah, doesn't count time the way man does. Yes, he knows how many hairs on our head. He knows our hearts. He knows us personally, and He knows our limitations.

  When the load is too heavy, the workers will loaf.

  Magwitch: Don't feel bad about counting your break time. Some Circuit Overseers do it. I told by two CO's to count mine. Jehovah understands, and allows breaks.

  Teary: I wouldn't want to work for you, or even work with you out in service. If someone asked me to include you in my car group, I would just find an excuse not to include you. But, you don't do FS, according to your posts. Why do you judge workers, when you don't work?

  i am sorry ,but my daughter will not be in my will.. her dughters my grand kids, that,s another story,.

  it,s not their fault they do not know me.

  comtemplating, in my will the money that i leave.

  That really sad, Jam. Kids should show more appreciation for their parents. They should never take advantage of them.

  one of my other posts mentioned briefly how the c.o.b.e.

  of my "former" hall is trying to make it a rule of no football,especially for elders and servants.. of course,as a woman i would never qualify to be a servant,nor do i want to be.

  but,i still enjoy watching a bit of the nfl.

  i just love the statement "instead of eulogizing the deceased, use the material in this outline to give a fine witness concerning the truth.

  " in other words, utterly disregard the deceased.

  I was never a fan of the Funeral Talk .....I hated the way they used someone's death by Exploiting it to a preaching message.

  I would prefer a few friends to come up and say what they thought about the deceased.

  Wonder how the funerals were conducted in the first century?

  You're right, JOJ. Jehovah, doesn't count your time. That is a silly rule that the ORG makes us do. They back it up by saying it is only used for statistical purposes. But, it is being used for more than that.

  It is being used to measure one's suitability as a MS, or Elder.

  It is being used, to see if you didn't publish that month. Then the negative titles come out such as Irregular, Inactive.

  It is being used, to establish some promotional titles such as Aux Pioneer, Reg Pioneer, and Special Pioneer.

  I am not shunned, but I will be including one of my Dissassociated children in my will.

  Didn't the Father of the 'Prodigal Son' do the same. The acct says that the son was going to live a live of debauchery. The father didn't hold back what the child was entitled to in the parable.
