It has happened all over the country. We even had a meeting as elders on how to treat people who got it reversed, how we should still see them as restricted ... even if the court over turned it. Just know this, a good lawyer can just about fight anything.

if we didn't, nothing would be worth the paper it was written on, as people under 18 can not enter into a legal arrangement on their own.. .

Disfellowshipping have been over turned in courts many times. We had it happen once in our local area.

So here is my thought, how many of you were baptized under the age of 18? If so, does your agreement or commitment to the religion actually stand legally. Can they really say that you were old enough to know what you were doing? Because if a woman marries a man, and signs a "prenuptial agreement" it is void even 50 years later ... if she signed while underage.
Now here is my question, could you actually fight a disfellowshipping based on the fact that you were to young to ever really enter into a agreement legally in the first place?

What Really Surprises Me Is............
by Sentinel in.............that jehovah's witness aren't required to wear uniforms, adults and children.
i mean, it would certainly settle the issue of who's in and who's out, because whoever wasn't attending meetings couldn't pick up their next clean uniform.
also, they would be totally visible out in public and you would always be "safe", if you associated or spoke to one who was properly uniformed.

Uniform or not, I tend to be pretty good about picking out who they are ...
If I see a teenage girl who seems way to shy and awkward for her own good ... JW
If I meet a teenage boy who is acting like a horney 10 year old, but unable to express himself right ... JW
If I see a woman who is scared to speak over her husband ... JW
If I see a man wearing a suit that is out of style, yet thinking it makes him look distinguished ... JW
... you get the idea, they do have a uniform appearance.

witness sites
by freedom96 inon a post by jonathanseagull, he was talking about going onto witness sites, posing as one, and talking to them.
i surfed a little on the net, and checking out some of the sites, i noticed that there are bigtime restrictions to get in.
they are very critical, better be a witness, etc to even be considered to get in.

I love how Witnesses consider everything a sign of the end, based on their Bible. What about those speaking out against the Mormons, Catholics, and other Christian religions. Do they really think they are alone in that department? Oh yeah, they do because they do not read anything else. Ignorance is bliss!!!!!
Another example of someone coming in all gung ho and not realizing until years later how foolish they were not to ask more questions. Not just asking witnesses either.

I always figured they chose the color based on what was cheapest to make. Although, I should have thought about advertising ... since that is my business trade.
They should put rainbow stickers on their bumpers and say they are a group of many colors. Of course, if they knew what a rainbow sticker meant, they wouldn't!

Did no one ever tell them that this is a bad color for a Bible? If there is a hell, it will involve looking at those green Bibles for eternity.
