  Well, the truth is that we really should only be concerned about the serious things... like any new gender pronouns or Mr Potatohead going gender neutral. These developments are much more important than Syria getting bombed.

  it looks like it can happen again and i suspect if it does happen, the senate will not convict either because they can’t convict him since it’s after his presidency or simply because they don’t have sufficient votes..

  No, there is a distinction in purpose between an impeachment and criminal trial. Impeachment is about removal, not about assigning guilt. You can't indict the President, so you impeach him to remove. After that, he can be criminally charged. In other words, double jeopardy doesn't apply to impeachment.

  Also, he didn't "incite" and "insurrection", unless you expand your definition of "incite" and "insurrection" so broadly that it would literally include every Democrat in office today. I suspect you wouldn't want that.
