Ohhhh I see. You just want “legitimate use” and “common sense” laws. Phew, for a moment there I thought you were advocating something purely subjective with shifting definitions. Silly me.

Is it possible for any Country to have “Reasonable” Gun Laws? What would they be?
by pistolpete inso the new biden/harris gun policies are starting to appear.
it’s not clear yet, what they will be.. some suggestions; confiscate all guns.------buyback programs in each state.. there is much talk on social media that if this happens, the pandemic, + all the riots, + all the damaged property, + all the annual murders in america, - put together-will be like a sunday afternoon picnic, compared to all the deaths and property damage that will result because of “civil uprising” by millions of 2nd amendments advocates and just plain gun lovers.
americans love guns!.

The “oh-I-can’t-ban-it-so-let-me-just-tax-it-out-of-existence” won’t work. It’s a prohibition through taxes, and it’s still a prohibition. It will be struck down.
The left is forking with fire here. The riots sealed the deal - guns are necessary. It’s really not a good idea to pursue this. I mean good forking lord - the same people that feel the election wasn’t quite on the up-and-up are the same people who are getting censored.... which are the same people with a shirt load of guns. A “buyback” will only be interpreted as a an attempt to disarm everyone before the real tyranny begins. And it’s not illogical to think the real tyranny would be coming, as that very same group has already been marginalized and censored.

Do you think “Eventually” the Whole World will become Socialist?
by pistolpete inwhen i say; “socialist” i don’t mean everyone is equal.
instead i am referring to “leaders” being rich and powerful, whereas the ordinary citizen being poor, and powerless.. i was surprise that the majority of the world is run by socialist government.
the last few countries that are not socialist are the united states and parts of europe.

Socialism has a lot of problems. Even assuming people can change so completely that the motivational problem goes away, it is still impossible.

Happy Thanksgiving. I’m having friends over, and there will be far more than 10 people in my house, most of which do not live here. We had my kids’s friends sleep over last night too.
No masks. Living life.

@Stephanie:
It's in the pre-processor, so it is a bit more devious. That is, someone might write code that looks like this:
if(my_variable == true)
{
// some code here
}
The keyword
true
would still be in the original code. All editors would register it as a normal code. It's only when the compilation process starts, and the pre-processor kicks in right before the compiler get ahold of the code, that the basic text replacement from "true
" to "(rand() > 10)
" takes place. -

@TD:
Thats because there was fraud, Trump even won California. .... just kidding.
It has always been about the mail-in ballots. The normal procedure of requesting a ballot first was eliminated in MI, PA, and GA. Ballots were sprinkled over the states, causing an impossible situation to tracking sent/received and auditing. But worst of all, and this is what most of the affidavits from Rudy seem to state, that signature checks were purposely dropped.
So, Barnes (video above) seems correct. After the 2000/FL/Gore incident, the idea of risk limiting audits, WITH signature checks, was an agreed upon way to approach situations like this. I don’t think it is unreasonable to get these checks.

If my wife were to divorce me and cause me “mental distress”, can I sue? I mean, she obviously “intentionally” filed for divorce.

@TD:
I think there will be evidence - the type that has already been shown. And it will push all the contested states to do a signature match check on the mail-ins.
The evidence of Dominion being a software company created by dictators to rig elections - well, I think Sydney will have to go it her own on that one. And, I hear, she intends to. Amazing. But if she has this evidence, by all means - I am open to listening. But I don't think it will play any part in this election.

@DOC:
She has been really great for Flynn. The judge in the case has been attempting to drag this out, become a party to the case, appoint his own prosecutor, and wait until the election was over. But Sydney has experience in that type of law.
Nevertheless, Flynn will get pardoned.
