  At least in the computer science realm, employers are looking less and less for a computer science degree. We just hired two developers where I work. One of the new hires without a degree was chosen over a candidate with a degree. The reason: the interview consisted of a short discussion, and then an assignment to restructure a working program that was purposefully created badly. All the developers watched in the same room, quietly. It was high pressure with everyone observing decisions and strategy. But it was clear the guy without the degree was better. He had done more personal work.

  I heard Google is putting more importance on personal work outside of school than the degree.

  What kind of trolley is this? Are you saying the fat terrorist is so fat that he would stop the trolley? And yet the trolley would kill him.... maybe he is so blubberful that it would gum up the wheels. Good lord, that is one fat terrorist. I think I would chance it. Let it run over the fat one and see if it just continues off the cliff.

  director, james b. comey, to shut down the federal investigation into mr. trump’s former national security adviser, michael t. flynn, in an oval office meeting in february, according to a memo mr. comey wrote shortly after the meeting.. “i hope you can let this go,” the president told mr. comey, according to the memo.. the existence of mr. trump’s request is the clearest evidence that the president has tried to directly influence the justice department and f.b.i.

  investigation into links between mr. trump’s associates and russia.. mr. comey wrote the memo detailing his conversation with the president immediately after the meeting, which took place the day after mr. flynn resigned, according to two people who read the memo.

  Did I miss something? - everyone in the room said the Trump did not disclose classified info, and this is a big nothing burger. Not that it is a legal issue anyway. This sounds like more fake news from the left.

  i keep hearing demands for equal rights but don't understand what rights they are missing exactly.. normally a march is to show the support (and potential votes) for a cause, but ... votes for what?

  ... and the election happened already.. is anyone else confused?

  #DayWithoutAWoman, the entire protest, from the march to the pussy hats and the chanting - the entire thing was a joke. Not a funny joke, but the kind that makes you honestly worry about society. The kind of joke that makes you wonder if it would be better to watch the fools march and protest, or ride a bicycle a few hundred miles without a seat.

  That's the take away. Women have all the rights of men. Full stop. Everything else was pure bull shit.

  The video takes the leftist crap sandwich and turns it into something funny.

  Could a petition to make shunning illegal work?

  we're currently watching leah remini's series about scientology and the main thing she seems to focus on is the shunning policies of the scientology organization which let's face it are very similar to jw procedure.. i was wondering with all that's in the media recently about bullying could a petition be put together to get the goverment to consider making religiously mandated shunning illegal?

  has such a thing been tried before?.

  Freedom from religion is another form of freedom of association (you get to choose you associate with and who you don't associate with). I find it odd that some are saying we need to legislate against freedom of association so that we can have freedom of association.
