I could be wrong, but there is precedent for secular courts getting involved if the religion didn't follow its own internal procedures. If this is another version of that, it seems like an empty victory.
Why won't she be disfellowshipped next week for something else (like suing the WT)? They wl make sure they follow internal procedure this time.

The bus stop analogy
by slimboyfat insuppose we were naïve observers, given the following data, and asked to draw a conclusion.
we see people gather at a busy bus stop several times a day.
at first one person, then another, and another, until they form a group.

So the aliens form a falsifiable hypothesis that the groups of congregating people cause the busses to arrive. Then they test the hypothesis and soon find out it fails when busses stop even when no people are there.
In this case the hypothesis is that consciousness causes brain activity, rather than brain activity causing consciousness.
Is it falsifiable?
If I choke you and restrict blood flow to your brain, you lose consciencousness. What does that imply about the hypothesis?

Just keep in mind that this will spawn a new wave of identity thieves, knowing that many will be eager to respond. It might not be good to hand out any personal identifying info to someone at your door, even though they claim to be "from the government".

I went through K-12, the college, university, and heard nothing about Juneteenth. So I ran a search with Google ngram viewer. Here is the distribution:
Looks like the usage peaked in 2005, well after high school for me, even after college. -

MMM:
They do reference Jerimiah. And Jerimiah has very clear language. It's not that Jerimiah was or was not "all about" the Exile. He talks about it. But he doesn't equate it to the 70 years.
scolar: False. Ezra and Daniel when referring to the Exile quote Jeremiah's prophecy of the 70 years thus proving that Jeremiah linked the Exile with the 70 years. You've put yourself on the horns of a dilemma: Either the Bible contradicts itself, or the WT is incorrect - which do you choose? Your statement above prefers the Bible to contradict. Jerimiah's language is so plain and simple, attempts to "clairify" it by later prophets just means there is a contradiction in the scriptures. You are asserting "Yes, Jerimiah referred to seventy years of servitude, not equated to the desolation, and yes, he said plainly that it applied to many nations (plural), and yes he explicitly stated that the seventy years would end and then the desolation would end, but you know, Jerimiah was really sloppy with his writing. Yeah the language is really clear, but golly gosh darn, it seems what he REALLY meant was something completely different. He meant it WAS the seventy years wasn't servitude, and applies to Judah only (singular), and ends together with the seventy years, because they are the same thing. See? Ezra just "clairifies" all of that for us."

False. Jeremiah was all about the Exile(s) for it occurs 30 times as listed in the NWT so one can readily see that 'the Exile' was thematic in Jeremiah's prophesying.
It's not that Jerimiah was or was not "all about" the Exile. He talks about it. But he doesn't equate it to the 70 years. The ch.25 clearly describes the Exile and its consequences of exiles or deportees having to leave a desolated or ravaged landscape and being bonded or made to serve the conquering power, Babylon as other nations also were made to do.
The consequences of the exile is irrelevant to this topic. But again, above, you equate the exile with the servitude. The servitude started long before the exile, and its the servitude that lasted 70 years. This means that Jeremiah, Ezra, Daniel all described the 70 year period of Exile as also a period of a desolated land, servitude to Babylon during the exile in Babylon.
No, it's literally the opposite. -

What Do You Know of JWs Getting Away With Stuff?
by minimus ini realized that teenagers and young witness adults were getting away with murder per my daughter.
she told me that all these exemplary young people featured at assemblies and conventions were not real good examples.
after she got married years ago to a “ worldly “ man, she told me about all the kids who were fornicating and getting drunk and high, including elder’s kids.
