  thought i am gonna introduce myself.

  i am a girl from a country in europe, and not an english speaking one, so if i am writing strange or something, you know why.

  anyway, have been reading here for a while now, the other day i thought it was time to register as a member.

  Welcome powermetal4ever!

  Sorry you still have to go to the meetings. Considering how dry & boring they were when I was still going 9 years ago, I can only imagine it has gotten worse.

  Back in the 70's and early 80's the elders & ms in my cong used to make the meeting parts interesting by using skits. They set the platform up with a cot and curtains pretending to operate on a spiritually weak witness, they would turn off the lights and use the literature room with its lights on as a house and we'd watch the scene through the window as they demonstrated various presentations on the householders and other interesting skits.

  But that was a long time ago and it seems they are not allowed to do things like that anymore. The meetings became so forced and cut and dry, a real drag to have to sit through. I am so glad I don't have to do that anymore!

  I think they will eventually have you print your own tracts and the magazines will go bi-monthly, then quarterly, then print your own.

  The study w will remain as it is for now, but eventually, there will be only study articles that you print yourself.

  How much money do they need? Several billion dollars is not enough? What do they do with all that money?

  Yes, my brother thinks public records are doctored or faked! He probably thinks the reported sales figures are greatly exaggerated.

  When it comes to what people WANT to believe, they close their minds to inconvienent facts. Yet, he claims the witnesses alone are exact and accurate in what they publish!

  The wts has yet to get right the size of the Wallkill printery in their publications, for example!

  Yes, it is stupid. There is no reasoning with him, he refuses to listen to me. Satan controls the media and it distorts the facts. But the gb always tell the truth and always have. Amazing!

  Also, he always refused to have the internet claiming Satan is in the computer! With all of the emphasis on jw.org and his handing out the tracts advertising it, he is a pioneer, I wonder if he feels hypocritical or if he finally got the internet.

  Warwick will not be completed until sometime in 2017.

  My relatives don't believe in the trinity either, or Jesus! LOL!

  I think the gb are afraid to speak out against Islam.

  if I could destroy any religion I wanted, and could pick only 1, islam is what I would pick.

  I'm sure the vast majority of witnesses have no idea that the society has been taking in so much money from the sale of their properties and donations would drop even more if they knew about it.

  My jw brother insists Satan controls the media and would say all those sales reports are lies. He wants to keep his eyes closed.
