It's one of the WT's main indoctrination tools.
Only a parroting or mirroring of the printed material is allowed.
Any deviation gets you marked, cut off from commenting, or even brought before a JC.
do you think the watchtower will ban commenting at the meetings one day?
if you are pimo, you might want to try to make some comments to make others think about the “truth”!

frequently asked questions.
if i accept a bible study, will i be pressured to become one of jehovah’s witnesses?.
jehovah’s witnesses love teaching people about the bible, but we never pressure anyone to join our religion.
If you don't become a JW, you'll be wiped out by fireballs at Armageddon, but don't feel pressured to join...

your opinion, please, on the above video.
1. before jesus, humans were judged either by the law (jews and converts) or by natural law (noahide law).
I thought WT doctrine (based on a mistranslation of Romans 6:7) was that people's deaths acquit them of their past sins (the sins they committed in this life) and that those who make into into the 1000 year kingdom will only be judged on the basis of what they do during that kingdom rule. People will die during the millennial kingdom and there will be a final rebellion at the end, so quite a few of them will be doing vile things, right?
Sometimes I wonder if the GB understand what they have been teaching for decades.
the watchtower—study edition | february 2022. study article 6. do you trust in jehovah’s way of doing things?.
15 as the end of this system of things draws near, we need to trust in jehovah’s way of doing things as never before.
during the great tribulation, we may receive instructions that seem strange, impractical, or illogical.
I wonder how many of the GB really believe their pronouncements come from Jehovah.
ivy hill congregation of jehovah's witnesses is currently suing the pa department of human services.
it requests "a declaration that its elders are entitled to" clergy privilege, or, in the alternative,.
to the extent that the clergyman privilege is determined to exclude its elders on the basis that they are "members of [a] religious organization[] in which members other than the leader thereof are deemed clergymen or ministers," the court declare the statute to be unconstitutional.
A few years ago, I talked with a Pennsylvania elder who assured me that the WT obeys mandatory reporting laws.
I wonder what he's thinking now... or if he's thinking...

picked this answer up on quora.
please add other apostate "lies" you are aware of.. "jehovah's witnesses cannot refute the facts in the so-called “ lies” against them, and when they do, they shamelessly lie and tell half-truths to defend their mind-controlling sect.. their new york based leaders tell them that anything negative said about their sect is a “ lie “ from “ mentally diseased, bitter apostates”.. jws are yet to come to terms with the fact that we are in the information age and they can no longer get away with lying to protect their organisation.. for example, one of the “ lies “ told about them is that they shun anyone who leaves the cult , including family members, including their own children.. another “ lie “ is that jws are ready to allow their children to die rather than accept a life-saving blood transfusion.. the child sex abuse coverup in the cult is also said to be a “lie “.
That they won't look at evidence which shows the Watchtower is wrong about anything.
for any lurkers who don't believe the watchtower taught that the world would end in 1975... rare jehovah's witnesses 1968 interview "armageddon and 1975" london watchtower rep speaks to bbc.

but where will this system of things be by that time?
After 1975 came and went, an elder told me, "My service to Jehovah isn't tied to a date."
I said, "That's funny. A year ago all you could talk about was that date."
My PM mailbox shows that I have one PM, but when I click on it all that comes up is very old PMs. I wonder if others are having similar issues.
I'd appreciate it, Simon, if you would check into this.
who is more powerful out of the co and the body of elders?
i remembered a time i was a reg.
pioneer and my service overseer in my congo was asking one of the regular pioneers during the meeting with the co. how powerful is the co to the body of elders and how powerful is the body of elders to the co?
COs know that if they just tell all the elders, "You guys are doing a great job. Keep up the good work," they won't be COs very long.
The GB is always demanding more of JWs -- more field service hours, more members, better attendance at meetings, more members pioneering, more people attending the Memorial, more sacrificial donations of money, and so on.
This puts a lot of pressure on COs to show better results, and COs pass that on to the elders.
