Auzzies. Manson Doco on SBS ONE 9:30 pm Sunday

it's 40 years since charles manson's 'family' committed the brutal murders of pregnant actress sharon tate and six others in a two-night rampage in la in august 1969. manson is a fascinating docu-drama that takes viewers deep inside a twisted world of hate, fear and mind control.

it shows how one man transformed a harmless group of hippies into a gang of sadistic murderers.

the program also features the first ever in-depth interview with the family's so-called "lookout" linda kasabian.. .

I've seen another Doco which had Manson in it along with other cults (Jonestown etc..) absolutely shocking!

I agree with Paul, it doesn't hit you that you're in one until you leave. Then your eyes open (o_o)

i'm new here, this is my first post.

have been reading so many comments from you guys over the past few months and now i can finally comment too!.

it is amazing how long it took me to see that jw's are not god's organization and that their teachings do not really find support in the bible.. now i'm not really sure what i believe.

So I am not the only one ignored by the congregation even though not Dfd or DAd.

No, there are many of us who are simply ignored by their own congregations. I am one of them. It's only been 6/7 months that I've stopped cold turkey and apart from 2 people my so called friends have not even contacted me to see what's happened to me. Now those 2 friends have stopped completely as well. What love

Does the Watchtower contain photo's of the Devil

i have not been able to find any photo's of satan the devil in the watchtower.

there are photo's of the serpent with eve, satan's hand offering kingdoms to jesus and a shadowy cloaked figure speaking to jesus on the mountain.

apart from that i cannot locate any of a proper looking devil.

3M, that one from 1934 is hard to see but brilliant. It is a proper looking devil, wings and all.

I agree Paul, I'm glad you liked it. I'm still searching, if I find others I will let you know.

hi, i usually don't post here a lot but, i spent some time with my aunt and uncle last week.

he's df'ed and she's inactive but still makes some meetings.

we somehow got into how bad some of the new songs are and they both mentioned a few interesting things about the songs back in the 60-80's.

My Dad's passing

quite a while ago i wrote about my dad who has been living with prostate cancer for 13 years with secondry bone cancer for the last 2 years.

we all thought he was going to leave us back in april when he had a bad chest infection.

i was talking about wanting to be able to say some words at his funeral.

One reason JW's go to their Meetings

last week i drove by the kh thursday at 6:25 pm which is.

35 minutes before the meeting starts and there were already.

15 cars in the parking lot.

I never went early, pretty much was there a few min before the song and a lot of times walking in while the song was playing.

While looking for the 'devil' pictures for you I found this gem.

This image doesn't have the devil in it but it looks like something you could use.
