Since JWs have the "Truth" (i.e., answers), just ask JWs simple questions and let them talk themselves into TTATT. All you have to do is don't let JWs change subjects when they cannot answer your questions. Always go back to the questions that JWs don't want to answer.

You really need to talk with someone who understands what you are going through so that you can control your emotions. Even going away for a weekend to enjoy life and not think about the WTBTS might help you.

Hi Billy the Ex-Bethelite, Why not ask a JW, "Why do you feel that it will be this year more than when WTBTS predicted it would be in 1975?" Listen to them for a while until you can ask them more questions, like what you wrote about of getting an education so that you do not have to survive on solely Social Security.
I wonder what regrets that JWs who sold their houses or quit their jobs in the 1970's have now, if they are alive?

Hi ILoveTTATT, DITTO what skeeter1 and Black Sheep said. You are young and Armaggedon is not going to happen, so be patient. If you have enough money, go away for a weekend and enjoy yourself away from the turmoil.
Like the saying goes, "You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make it drink." Think how you would have treated someone forcing you to listen to TTATT when you believed in the WTBTS. Show your mother how to love unconditionally. Just ask questions to help JWs to awaken to TTATT.
If you do not have a smartphone with a video camera and 128 GB memory, get one! If the elders come to talk with you, start recording what they say, ask them to please leave you alone, and you will contact them when you want. If they refuse to leave, walk away from them. If they threaten or physically restrain you, call the police. Remember record all contact with the elders.
The worse thing that you can do is lose your cool. You have done nothing wrong, so let JWs lose their cool. You can always help other JWs by using your language skills to translate jwfacts webpages into Spanish and to live your life the way that you want.

how would you handle a situation where your grandkids are being used by their father to manipulate their grandmother into going to the meeings?
grandkids sending text messages to grandmothers phone asking if she will come to their meeting.
grandmother is no longer attending meetings and doesn't wants to she know ttatt.
Hi insearchoftruth4, Grandmother tells kid's father to stop using his children to manipulate Grandmother and sends text messages back to grandchildren asking them if they want to meet her at Disneyland, a waterpark, or some other recreational activity that would cause/cost father a lot of money. Grandmother should be fun loving and show grandchildren unconditional love.
Grandmother should also talk to daughter about how to identify manipulative and abusive relationships.

the teen became a jehovahs witness two years ago but her parents are not followers, and that has been a point of strife between cassidy and her parents.. candis says her daughter has taken the religion too far preaching door to door instead of doing her school work.
I hope that someone will contact Jeff Wier and Candis McCarville-Wier and let them know about Steve Hassan and www.freedomofmind.com. It is too bad that a non-JW is victimized by the WTBTS's BITE control.

a young, progressive, kind elder wants to have a chat with me on sunday after the meeting.
we've talked before and been quite open about the judgemental attitudes 'we' have as witnesses, and he was completely in agreement, stating that he's never understood the beard thing among other issues, and wants to see the society moving forward by change..
i've no doubt he just wants to encourage me to up my hours or reach out again, but it's nerve wracking, as i know i'll say something i'll regret.
Hi Captain Blithering, Just ask simple questions to help him talk about his opinions. Don't tell him about your opinions. And act like a total blithering idiot with no intellectual capacity.

Elder: I think that you need to spend more time out in FS.
CB: Uh ha, What do you like most about FS?
Elder: It is very rewarding to spread the spiritual food before "Wordly" (non-JWs) people and see how amazed they are with the feast.
CB: Uh ha. What is your favorite thing to say to "Worldy" (non-JWs) people?
Elder: I like to tell them how Jehovah needs an organization for his people and the WTBTS is that organization.

Hi ILoveTTATT, Why not ask your mother why she feels that you are always "angry" or "sad"? Is she projecting her feelings onto you, because of her cognitive dissonance? Just tell her that you are busy working, do not have spare time to go in FS, and do not want elders passing judgement on you when you have done nothing wrong.
By the way did you determine whether the local elders have your publisher card? If not, then why are they bothering you, because you are not in their congregation.

it seems most of the us growth is in spanish-speaking territory, and of course, there is growth in the nations where spanish is the predominant language.
most sites oriented around ttatt, are english-speaking.
there seems then to be a great need for translators...for instance, imagine if there was a spanish version of www.jwfacts.com.. unfortunately, i dont speak this language.
