Something that's been on my mind for a while and I finally put into words.
by WontLeave inshould i turn "apostate"?.
when anyone is replying to a matter before he hears [it], that is foolishness on his part and a humiliation.

Is "The Truth" Killing You, Lurkers?
by metatron inas an elder of many years, i was continually struck with the abundance of chronically ill witnesses whose disease appeared to be related to their own stress at trying to meet the endless demands of the "truth".
i am not a medical professional but i don't need to be a doctor to know that the depression and virtual self loathing ('i'm not good enough, i must do more, i'm a bad parent....") sets a stage for ill health.. and now science backs up that conclusion:.

when i first joined the jws, i came across a suicide case.but all the jws members did not even consider it a matter.subsequently i sense that depression is relatively high amongst jw.

If The Organization Wants U 2 B Financially Insecure How Does It Help Them???
by minimus inthe organization teaches you to rely on jehovah god.
don't worry about the anxieties of this system, just modestly care for the necessities in life.
don't plan for retirement.

the jews paid tithes and jesus had the treasury chests arrangement, the WT would reemphasized the need to contribute when it runs out of money

How many JW's are doing bad things each year worthy of being DF'd?
by dissed infor a religious group that claims to be above reproach, with a self proclaimed, excellent reputation for godliness, i don't feel that claim is quite true.. in fact, i think its a sham to make those assertions.
they trully should not feel they are different from any organized group, when it comes to its members following righteous standards.
true, the wt would like all to believe they are clean and morally straight, that they are different and not tainted from the world.

yes codependents are attracted to the jws and they remain as such because no one brings up the issue to them

Have you ever considered completely abandoning the people in the so-called "Truth"
by gubberningbody inthey seem quite content to do that to you.
why not just let them live their futile, dysfunctional lives and let time be the judge?.
