More UN Involvement August 2009

i'm pretty certain its been on here before but in case you haven't seen it - .

on the weekends, i am usually found - in the mornings - at the local coffee shop - where i study - and madly write my new ideas - or expand on old ones.. it is a time when i put to paper all of the thoughts of the past week - and dream up new ones for the next one.. anyway, on sunday mornings, there is a retired schoolteacher lady who - with her husband show up after their church services and have breakfast.

she will usually try to find an open pair of seats at the counter next to me - to talk with me.

this morning, they sat next to me, and she began talking (which usually interrupts my solo quiet time).. during the chatter, she asked me if i was into sports when i was in school.

Just a short observation on my Bible study.

i thought it would be fun to say yes to a weekly bible study just to see how far i could go in undermining the j.w.

beliefs, also to be honest i thought it would make a family member happy.

so i slowly and methodically refuted and questioned all the nutty things that my study teacher, or whatever he's called, tried to throw at me over a period of about 4 months.

How did you treat people?

do you ever feel guilty about the way you pre-judged others when you were a drone?.

i feel guilty about it every day!

people's lives are so complex, we know so little of their personal struggles and "thorns in the flesh" yet we're conditioned to prejudge on a checklist of criteria published by a few men in new york.

i always felt deep sorrow for anyone "in trouble"....if they were disfellowshipped,,,,i would go up to them during the meeting and give them hugs in front of everyone...we were not suppose to speak to them,,,but no one ever said you couldn't touch them....i was not well liked by the congregation and didn't like the puishment aspect of things...

i got my ass in trouble more than once,,,

My dog, Alice, 12 yrs old...died last night.

Pics of tornado damage by our house that hit FRI night

three of my kids live within two miles of where this tornado hit friday night.. it was a pretty frightful night.

my daughters apt was three inches from getting flooded.

we moved what we could to upstairs and on shelves.. stayed in half bath with grandbaby with pillows and blankets over the baby.. my son has been working at this site where it hit to help out.. these pics were taken today (sunday) can't imagine what it looked like yesterday, they said there were over 300 (worldly) .

oh honey,,,,i am so GLAD there was no deaths....i can only immagine how you and your family are feeling....deeply sorry for what you and yours went through and are going through....hang in there...bigest hugs ever....peaches

what makes you think it was "the lord" that sent you???? even satan can transform himself into an angel of goodness.....are you counting your time?? are you a jehovahs witness???

you and i would never get along...so,,,i will not write anymore....as for worring about what people think of me..TOO FUNNY!! your shout is loud,,,and because of inacurate knowledge and judgement again....your shout will NOT be effective...but will land on deaf ears....the "spirit" being blocked by attitude,,,,,not from those "lost",,,,,,but "those" filled with selfrighteous and "mock" humility.....peaches...
