We just about managed to sing the new versions of old songs at our mem' but people were tending to drift into the old version.
I just can't understand why old songs have been changed so much

The new songs sang at the Memorial
by undercover ingot a new song book at the memorial last night.
was kinda excited about the new songs...at least at first...especially when i realized that the songs that i was going to have to stand through were only two stanzas/verses/thingies/whatever long instead of 4.... that is...until they started playing and singing them.. wow...were they terrible.
i'm not a musician but i know a well crafted song when i hear one...and i didn't hear any last night...until i got back in my car anyway.. god did those songs suck.

I always feel so sorry for all the women sat in the memorial audience when this scripture is read each year.....................imagine being there for the first time & hearing your gender defiles these anointed ones & then no explanation is given.

Trouble is it the NWT say's 'in FACT' they are virgins.
Seem's odd that 144,000 mentioned in verse 1 is taken as literal & then 'in FACT they are virgins' is taken as symbolic..............

Aposta-men, Do You Know How to Sew?
by White Dove inthe men in the coven i was in knew how to use a sewing machine quite well.
it was required for first degree work that everyone make a ritual garment.
some covens in the assembly had to make their own tabards, too.

Hi White Dove,
In advertising media men are now often made to look like incompetent fools with the women having to 'do' everything for them.
Its seems to be 'How much is a woman worth if you had to pay for someone to 'do' all she does around the home & looking after the kids'
Seldom is the worth of a capable man considered.
I'm skilled at using all those 'butch' tools I mentioned earlier to do 'manly' jobs around the house & for other people & as a gay man I think men are wonderful & I will defend them to the death!!!!

I'm a bloke & I can use a sewing machine, washing machine, dryer, iron, oven, hob, coffee maker, dishwasher, vacuum cleaner etc etc...................
I can also use a table saw, compound mitre saw, planer, router, band saw, angle cutter, stone cutter, pipe bender, blow torch, rotovator, lawn mower etc etc..........................
See??
Men aren't so useless.
