  Can anyone confirm/deny??????

  i heard a rumor that a couple of years ago the jw's actually outlawed french kissing too.

  can anyone tell me if this is true and also whether or not there has been any "new light" shed on the policy since?.

  i would like to ask some questions.

  first let me say that this whle child molestation thing makes me sick.

  at one time i think jw theology stated that a woman had to scream in order to be raped.
  this matter seems to be going back and fourth and i dont know what the current theology states. that is not to say that they would not sympathize with a woman who was too scared out of her wits to do anything but i think they might even label it grounds for disfelloship. i may be wrong please clarify.

  so would they consider it rape if the child did not scream or would they consider it fornication.

  and if it were fornication who would they blame. what disiplarny action would be brought against the child and perpetrator.

  in jw theology how old do you have to be to get married?
  or is this an unritten rule?

  if a child were to come foward and report this act but did not have a second witness for support would the child be called a liar and labeled a bad association.

  let me approach the big picture from this angle.. jehovahs witnesses know that the christian organization that they are affiliated with has made errors in the past.

  this is one of the most helpful posts that i have ever read.

  when i first read the jw responce it seemed as thuugh they would have a point.

  but as always the strawman gets plucked to pieces and their argument is left in tatters.

  this pattern is so common they always seem to have the right idea on first glance but on close examination they have nothing.

  i will memorize this material for future refernce.

  Do animals go to heaven?

  good question do animals go to heaven?

  i ask this because jws say to me they dont,only humans go to heaven they say "that sounds like crap to me" surely animals are precious to god as well as humans and think at least animals dont use humans to test on!!

  i saw a cartoon at the freeminds site where a cat was eating grass.
  [some of you may have seen this already]
  i could just imagine a lion roaring in the jungle and all of the trees trembel at his call
  then he hunts down a bunch of leaves or a fallen fruit.

  if animals dident do anything wrong then why do jws think that they have to be reconstituted?

  if they dident do anything wrong why did God change them from their orignal form?

  WTS quietly discarding end-times signs?

  back in 1995 a major change took place in the witnesses' 'understanding' of the generation that was foretold to see the end of the current 'system of things'.. no longer was it to be a literal generation that would see both the beginning of times of distress in 1914 and the culmination at armageddon.

  instead the wts claimed 'new light' in interpreting the generation as applying to whichever generation of people were alive to see the final end.. also in 1995 another change took place that did not receive the same attention and may have remained unnoticed by the rank and file witnesses.

  repeating a point already made in a watchtower issue of 1993, a new textbook to be used in the proselytising work (the knowledge book) was released.

  i thought that they only counted time when thy here going door to door.
