  I' m a bit puzzled by the angle taken in the OP, so please help clarify and/or answer if you can.
  Contrary to the OP title, the unnamed GB member referred only to the internet and did not actually name this very website.
  And from what he said, you deduced he was referring to this website?

  If you'd like the name of the GB member you can PM me but I don't want to put it out there as it could give too much info about myself (I know it's a bit paranoid). Yeah, the title is a little misleading but still an interesting topic nonetheless. Plus his description really did make me think of this site, where else do people discuss, criticize, and research the JW organization all in one place? Plus he mentioned that many thought they were intellectual by doing so. Sounds like a lot of the posters here (which is good thing).

  Every posed stance, facial expression etc is to 'teach' an idea - to infer something, to shape the mind and so often, it has a sharp ring of judgement about it. No doubt a question will be asked at the study concerning this photo - probably on the lines that one shouldn't judge who is or isn't a partaker

  Yes, that is what the real caption was about. It ridiculous that in one article they try to discourage people from partaking and in the next article they say "respect those who partake". Complete contradictions! However, his facial expression leaves it open to so many interpretations that it's actually pretty funny.

  Okay, so at the "Imitate Their Faith" CA there was a special speaker from the GB. And he started discussing Psalms 1:1 and how we today could "sit in the seat of scoffers". He then mentioned that many Bros. and Sisters criticize the org and think they are so smart by researching online. Listening to ones who have no respect for God's arrangement on Earth.   One thing time has told us, each generation progressively gets worse. And this generation is one of the the most, if not the most, perverted in history. So if then by some remote chance the "book of bible stories" you mock is accurate, there will be a heavy price to pay.

  I'm sorry but this can't be proven in any way shape or form. The WT runs with this idea because it feeds off people's negativity and yearning for the past. It ignores any positive advances or trends in the world because it doesn't fit in with it's narrative.

  This is false. Like most Xians, JWs pick and choose what they want to accept. Most dubs have never read the entire Bible, and they sure as hell have never picked up a Concordance. Just review the TMS Bible reading selections. It's the same menu for decades, just switched up a bit.

  Well, to be fair most of it is useless. It must be hard to try to pick out a portion of some of those old testament books to read each week.

  #4 is laughably false. JWs accept the 200 or so "core texts" that, in isolation, appear to support their convoluted doctrine. They routinely ignore well over 99% of the Bible, especially scriptures which are more difficult than usual to twist to appear to support it.

  Very true, I wonder if you looked at year of WT studies how many scriptures would be used and which would be the most quoted? Maybe the one about the FDS LOL
