ok so i dont believe in the bible anymore, but i what about all the prophecies that were "fullfilled" by jesus and all of the other fulfilled prophesis of bible?.

OTWO. I did the same as you and agree it's up to each one to research for themselves as to whether their belief system has any historical support.
Faith, on the other hand is something different and personal to each believer.
It would take along list of the books I have researched and read over the years from A to Z on all kinds of topics, too many to list.
Once in a while I might recommend a book or two that someone here recommended to me and that I found to be very helpful.

in the first bible studies i conducted, we taught that the great tribulation began in 1914 but was "cut short" in 1918 on account of the chosen ones, that some flesh would be saved.

Check out the book "Captives of a Concept" by Don Cameron. Look him up in the members section on top of this site. It will help you to use the very scriptures they use and give them something to think about.
Two excellant questions posed in this book are: What is the most important scripture in watchtower theology and what is the most important date in watchtower history? Let them answer, most don't know the answer to these two very important questions.

This demonstrates the importance of studying watchtower history first before studying with the witnesses. When one studies the watchtower history first, one will not accept a study with the witnesses. Those who study with the witnesses without studying it's history will become captives to this cult.

Paul, unknown to many is that sisters were used to write articles. Sister Anderson who served very close on the inside reveals much about this on her topics and post's.
She was the one who found out about the child abuse cases when doing research for the society. Her and her husband were servants for over 60 years combined and still were disfellowshipped for speaking out about hidden child abuse cases that were being covered over, on Dateline.

i believe this is incorrect.. i only make this comment because if we were to repeat the thought that the witnesses were members of the united nations, such misinformation could backfire on us..

in the old days, you could comment at a meeting and express the research you did on a subject.
Mini. Do you remember back in the late 60's and 70's when the books and Watchtower articles were meaty and long. Announcing Jehovah's Kingdom was a long time theme that was always being studied about.
Now Even though on the front cover of every magazine the theme is still there, Announcing Jehovah's Kingdom, they don't hear or study anything about Jehovah's Kingdom anymore.
I used to give the public talk on, "The March Of The World Powers" meaty talk, head of gold etc. Now they are being spoon fed pablum sneaking in changes ever so slowly.

As an NGO they wrote some positive and favorable articles in their Awake magazines back in the 70's. Do you remember some of them. This was in conflict with their preaching and teaching that the United Nations was in opposition to Jehovah's Kingdom.
If we did that we would be disfellowedshipped.
