  i happened to be reading this part of acts yesterday, ananias and sappira getting zapped for lying about keeping a portion of their profits.

  it occurred to me, that is, like, oh my gawd, soooo old testament!

  is there any other place in the new testament where a person was immediately executed by god for their error?

  He's very politely asking for the biblical significance of the withered purple hand in the picture in the Revelation book and which scripture they used to draw this detail from. Then he specifically asks for no home visits because his wife doesn't share his interest in biblical research.

  my wife, the hungarian goddess, and i just returned from a wonderful one week vacation in yosemite!

  i've been many times as a child and young adult, but haven't been for 17 years or so.

  it was the hungarian's first time.

  I went to Yosemite last fall and loved it. My sister and I stayed in Camp Curry and I agree about the crowds, even though we were there in shoulder season. All that aside, it's truly gorgeous and worth any effort it takes to get there.

  Introducing Mrs Cedars...

  i just thought you should know that mrs cedars has finally taken the plunge and joined the forum.

  she was able to log on for the first time yesterday.. though we both "awakened" at different stages, mrs cedars was very supportive and non-judgmental when i first began exploring my beliefs from a critical standpoint.

  she is currently in the process of reading crisis of conscience and aquainting herself with some of the facts of witness history that were hitherto unknown.
