san francisco, california in an interesting case of religious rights in the workplace, the 9th circuit court of appeals has ruled that employees of the san gabriel/pomona regional center must attend services from the kingdom hall of the jehovahs witnesses.
the protestant church is not exactly known for its ecumenical cooperation or respect for the catholic church which it often decries as being a supreme object over the whole earth that rhymes with the word lore.. at issue is a five year dispute brought on by catholic employees who care for a disabled man at the facility.

If somebody can contact them, get them to learn all of the 'apostate' aka TTATT stuff, then when they are forced at the KH, to FREELY raise hands to give comments and to talk to everybody around them about all the TRUTH they learned about the KH.
Watch how fast that KH makes arrangements for the disabled brother or tries to kick them all out LOL

I heard this past sunday they were worshipping the GB by going over how korrah died for not listening to Moses, so even though the two are nothing related, everyone must obey the GB.

"In fact they could, in good conscience, attend a Catholic Service in a similar situation. The WTS say that une may attend a church wedding or funeral if required to by family - just not participate in the hymns or prayers. There is always the Bible example of Nehemiah who took the king to his temple ."
You forgot to included the BIG *ASTERISKS* the WT puts in their articles whenver they make statements like that. Infact the * is SO BIG, they just put in in the paragraph right after the statement like demonstrated above. It will say something like this..
BUT you should consider if it would bother your conscience going to a funeral or wedding at another service. Or the conscience of your spouse. Or perhaps somebody studying or another witness may notice you going to that church and it could stumble them. (bible quote about not even eating if it would stumble a brother). So you must weigh all the costs, it is worth harming your own conscience or the conscience of another. (what that statement is really saying is ,'we are trying to appear moderate to bible studies, but any active JW's better be DAMN SURE they DON'T or they'll be marched in the back room by elders questioning their spirituality)

all the other religions were easy to prove false.
I know somebody who was having serious doubts so they went to a tarrot card reader. Whatever happened freaked them out and convinced them that demons were real so everything else was real too. Then they went right to the elders for a judicial committee for having done that.

Technically, you all do realize if Satan or demons SHOWED themselves to be real, demonic magic attacks, etc, then everybody would then believe there is a God too, etc.
If I was Satan and wanted nobody to believe in God, I'd command all the demons to not do anything. If they do anything very subtle that can be accounted for anything but nothing to make people believe they exist.
Whether real or not, if my goal was to oppose and have people not believe, what better way then have them believe none of them exist.
i am responding to a post by someone the other day about a black girl beaten by a mob of other black teens for "acting too white.
" the poster was trying to drive home the idea black people commit more crimes against themselves then white people do to them.
while it is true some black people do insult other black people who they believe are trying to fit in with caucasian people, white people, hispanics, asians, and other races do the same exact thing to people in their ethnic group as well.
"The real divide isn't race, it's wealth and yes, "white collar crime" (as in 'not blue collar', not ... oh, you know) is never punished as it should be.
The privilige is all about wealth, not color." - I agree, that is why so many banks and wall street have been guilty of CRIMINAL acts, that cost people billions of dollars, and they just get a slap on the wrist fine and no jail time for those responsible. I also loved the part about how billions of dollars given to Iraq on pallets had dissappeared and was accounted for and the government had no idea where it could be, yet if you forget to report a $100.00 check as income the IRS is breaking down your door to seize your home.

I wish this story or some ex jws had contacted those in this case and provided them the numerous sources of JW doctrine and commands that forbid going into ANY church and the consequences. Giving that to the judge it would have shown how hypocritical the disabled man is for wanting catholics to be forced into his church when his own doctrine forbids the opposite.
if so, i was just wondering if there are any books or steps (classes, etc) you took or recommend to really learn it.
and for what you recommend, what exactly do you do?
(long term, short, daytrade, calls, sell high buy low, buy low sell high, etc).

punkofnice - What I've found when traveling the world, is that almost every country or continent has some sort of racial or religious division.
In USA it's black vs white. In most of Europe it was arabs vs white (I was in Holland and they were saying how they don't like the arabs and their kebab stands, they are dirty, bring crime, etc). Also in Europe I saw northern/more white vs southern/more tan. In Egypt it was muslim vs coptic christian. In Iraq sunni vs shiite. Around Russia, Ukrainians are hated.
If there is not a racial division in a country, then they create a religious one, and if not probably something else. (remember the class division and shown in titanic?) and if not that then political division, (I hate republicans, I hate democrats).
I guess people just like to hate.
