  The other possibility (that is actually true) is that death is the beginning, not the end. We do not cease to exist, but continue on with or without God.

  Jn. 3:16; Rom. 5:8, etc. is all about the love of God (yet Jn. 3:36 mentions the other aspect of His holiness and justice).

  The love of God on the cross should compel you. This is not a gun at your head scenario. You are free to reject Jesus, but not without consequence. He would be unloving to force people to abandon their sin and selfishness and go to a holy place (that would be hell for them and ruin the place and compromise God's responsibility as Moral Governor). People want justice, but not for their own deserved justice. So, the love of God is compelling, winsome, vast. Those who reject His love and mercy and grace are choosing justice (which has provision in Christ). It will not be an excuse to use fear tactic complaints in light of His greater love, mercy, patience demonstrated much more than His wrath. godplayers don't get it and God is right and defensible in all His ways.

  Just because WT is dead wrong does not mean the Bible is wrong. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. The fear of man is a snare (Rutherford was right that religion is a snare and racket, but he was wrong to not embrace relationship with Christ).

  This is exactly what motivates me to take abuse here and point to Jesus (come to Him for life, abundant and eternal). One should not fear WT versions of things, but the reality is that the Holy Spirit still draws all men to the real Jesus, convicts them of sin, warns them of future judgment, etc. Just because WT screwed all this up does not mean there is still not biblical truth and a real Jesus to trust.

  I cannot imagine the horror of realizing one has given their lives to a false cult and still end up separated from God forever despite all the religious works. This is why the gospel of grace is good news. Come to Him all you who are weary and burdened...the Prince of Peace will give you rest that religion cannot.

  One should not be scared that the WT is right. There is a wealth of evidence to bring it down. One should be scared that there is a holy God and that the Bible is right if we are rejecting its truths.

  Jn. 1; Col. 1; Phil. 2; Heb. 1, etc. teaches about Christ's Deity.

  seriously, half day in (already had an argument with the wife this morning about individuality in the organization in which she conceded that a lot of it is based on looks) and this is already getting on my nerves.

  i'll post a rebuttal based on my annotations later in the week but one thing i got to get off my mind: saying the feminist movement (women going to work instead of staying home) and the diversity laws (allowing for homosexuality - but also religious freedom, racial discrimination etc.

  ) caused a lot of the problems in our world right from the stage.. there are less people here than last year - about 500 less..

  I do not want attention. I want you to consider that Jesus has a right to rule your life and rebellion will leave you condemned/lost. i.e. make an informed decision that will affect your time/eternity.

  cantleave: God does not delight in the death of the wicked. He grieves when His creation ruins itself and perishes in the lake of fire. There is no good reason for anyone to go to hell in light of the cross, but two everlasting destinies is as much reality as gravity is (deny it, but it is still applicable). God is loving AND holy. Do you really think Casey Anthony and Hitler should not experience temporal or eternal justice?

  Where are you from? We are whining about the mosquitos. It is either like the Arctic cold or so many bugs that we cannot even sit outside. This morning at 6:00 a.m., we had a major thunder/lightning storm with tornadic conditions. There will be grumpy, sleepless people today.
