i am still a jw.
i cant give any more details than this because of my family members who are devout jws.
i cherish a larger picture in my heart without anybody knowing ittrue worship means love and compassion, (luke 10:25-37) not belonging to any organization or having a set of belief system!

I too have come to conclude that "organisation" and "doctrinal beliefs" seem to get in the way of truth, love and compassion.

Personally I find the Watchtower only differs cosmetically (outward appearance) from those they criticise:

i know that this has been discussed in the past but i wanted to get some fresh opinions.
there are many out there that recognize the "rot" that is in watchtower but still feel that there is a "wholesome" side to it and are trying to bring about change or reform from within.. in 2002 when the rose colored glasses came off for me and i truly started to understand ttatt, i still felt that there was some redemable aspects of the organization.. i felt that russell had some doctrinal things right.

I have found the gospel message, hidden in plain sight throughout scripture, to be a detailed solution and response to all that ails us humans, in particular religion.
know where in the bible will you find christian religions being condemned for teaching the trinity or hell fire doctrines, but you will find jesus condemning those that come as messiah's or christs (both mean anointed) and declaring 'the time is near'.
you will also find paul cursing anyone that preaches a gospel different then the apostles preached as well as cursing those that change or add to the bible.
oh darn jw's thats you, you fit the bill in all of these!!!!!!

Our fear of death has been exploited in this manner for thousands of years.

i have a page on facebook and it made some controversial posts (my page is similar to the quotes website, except it translates the quotes to spanish).
i post that we believed in the cross before: meh... "thank you brother for showing us how the light has increased".
i post that we banned organ transplants and were against vaccinations: "you're an apostate!!

If anyone really needs more proof of the Sanhedrin's deadly sick spiritual condition, then maybe they still ought to continue following the Watchtower ruling religious hierarchy to Gehenna - at least until they start waking up from their spiritual slumber. (Matt 23 esp v15)
