  Why doesn't the UK have more spree killings like this? In theory with our lack of guns and no way of protecting ourselves the criminals should be massacring our children every day!

  there is a visitor brother in town and from what ive been told, he has been a missionary for many years and they were having a get together for him.

  i took my mom to that get-together yesterday and stayed for a few minutes.

  i heard a group around a table with the visitor brother talking about how hard it was getting in the world with so many distractions and that many of the brothers were falling into the trap and leaving jehovahs organization.

  me: i've been told that construction of the new branch has been stopped - is this true?.

  debbie: no, it has not ceased, it's carrying on as normal - can i ask where you're calling from?.

  IMO there is nothing sinister about GMO's, this kind of genetic manipulation is just the next step from the phenotypic breeding methods that have been employed for millennia. GM plants can benefit us by providing greater yields per hectare, more robust plants and plants that can produce higher levels of beneficial molecules, such as soluble fibres, than can be found in nature.

  Where I have an issue is when commercial organisations such as Monsanto use bullying tactics in order to protect their patents and sell their brand of poison along with the seeds or even worse, impregnate their GM seeds with their toxic cocktails.

  I think the world should just grow Avena sativa - there are no GMO oats.

  Question: why isnt it sprayed on in a fraction of the time??

  This is an elastomeric membrane which in its unpolymerised state would have a "stringy" rheology and too high a viscosity to spray.

  Edit....Which means they went cheap and bought the wrong product for the area being covered.

  That tumble weed will continue blow in no-man's land.

  I guess the worship is the "singing" of badly composed dirges and prayers blessing the GB for all the work they do on our behalf - and where "Jehovah" is used as a full-stop after every sentence.

  My Mom Is Dying

  i just wanted to say that my dear 89 year old mom is terminally ill and will soon pass.

  she is on morphine and hanging on.

  she has been a devout witness for about 60 years and a wonderful mother.
