Yes.... but I see now that I was still being "love bombed" by all at the KH at the time, so it's hard to know if his kind words were real or just part of the con? I like to think that he was just sweet old guy- but then again...............

Has an elder ever made a difference in your life?
by monkeyman inok, i've read a lot of horror stories out there about outrageous shepherding calls so i know they exist.
i've also been on several and received 2.. however, as an elder i thought i was pretty capable at helping people and making a difference in their lives.
i've had people tell me so over and over which was quite comforting to me after i was unceremoniously removed.. so here's my question......has anyone out there ever been the recipient of the kind of loving care from elders that made a positive difference in your life?

I swear to tell the whole truth...
by Lillith26 in... and nothing but the truth, please help me prozak..... i'm sure some have noticed how 'cranky' and 'snappy' i have been posting the last couple of days.... i am sorry..... life on my peaceful farm has gone to hell the last week with the noise of constant loud bangs from 'scareguns' that have been placed around our property to keep the ducks off the rice crops..... i have had very little sleep as the noise echos inside my old brick house 24hrs a day!......
so now that i have had my rant, i ask the question.... (in the family guy style).
what grinds your gears????????.

AGuest- I have a similar proplem with my staffy, Jetty thinks shes human. She sleeps in bed with my husdand and I- under the covers, in the middle and snores. She sulks and wines something that sounds like "mum mum mum" when she wants attention and her belly rubbed. She smiles and although she is too big to be a 'lap dog' she missed the memo and jumps up anyway...... it wouldn't be home without her :)

those stupid sister talks!
by highdose inam just remembering the awful headache that came with having to put say " how do we know that mary was a virgin?
" subject matter , into a "first call" setting with a " work on gestures" ... all together into a script that would kinda make sense!!
all in 5 mins with at least 2 scriptures used, both of which normaly seemed to have nothing to do with the subject matter!.

I sat through 3 of these TMS meetings just before I left.... I was really taken aback by how restricted the sisters were in what they were or were not alloud to do in the school- I was also a bit embarassed for clapping when no one else did on my first night at the TMS (they forget tell me you only do that for the brother or sisters first talk weird way to show support and encouragement for a young boy hey?? I thought he did great pronouncing all of those names)
It was a real eye opener to see first hand exactly how dubs are trained in the art of assimilation! the only thing that still bugs me about it all, is all of it! It's just FAKE..... and so demeaning for the kids to pushed up infront of everyone to do their reading without even a round of applause for being so brave....... I could never do that to my boys..... CULT!!!!!!!!!!!

Cognac- I'd have to start a new thread just to list a few of the things my husband does "that REALLY Grinds My Gears"....
Hubbys who leave there dirty laundry everywhere.
- Your tools belong in the shed dear- not in my kitchen/loungeroom/bedroom/hallway/bathroom.... *sigh*
- No you can not use my silk tablecloth as rags while fixing the lawn mower!
- It's where ever YOU left it dear!
- Yeah I know your mum's is better- would you like to be married to her instead????
- My tweezers are not for holding pieces of plastic while you paint your model cars dear
- I'm sorry your shoes ended up in the fish tank again, but if you leave them on the floor thats where Nate's gunna put them! ( dont you just love toddlers.... just yesturday i retrieved a sock, two plastic cups and a teady bear out of our 3ft tank- my poor goldfish.)

- no ignore button for trollz
- error notices
- spam emails (get a real job guys!)
- children who push the restart button while your not looking....
- facebook requests ( No I dont want to be a fan of the "who can fart the loudest club!")
- loosing the piece of paper I had all my passwords written on (or did the dog eat it?)
- trying to lip read because my speakers are stuffed and 99.9% of u-tube is not captioned!
- actually saying lol on the phone to a friend ( yeah I did that once LOL)
