Going to a bad place when i die
by 060702015 ini've thought and said too much to ever gain jehovahs forgiveness and love if i want to be a christian again.
i made a topic on my unforgivable sin and blaspemy of the holy spirit.. i feel saddness everyday having no relationship with god, no religion and fear of the afterlife.
even when i was kid i feared death and the end of the world.

Today I reversed preached to JW's about the scandal in Australia
by ILoveTTATT2 inso today a friend recommended that i ask the witnesses about the news in australia.
i am in mexico, in a city called mazatlan.. two weeks ago i talked with some jw's on the cart about the septuagint and the different bible versions.
so we had had a decently amicable conversation back then (i have never admitted i was a jw).. so today i saw them again, same place, same time.

JWs are liars under the guise of 'Theocratic Warfare'. Their number one goal is to protect Jehovah and not let his name be dragged through the mud. The one elder from Candace's hearings said that the elders are not there as physical protectors but spiritual ones. Well, dickhead, if your physical well being is compromised, so is your spiritual well being. They are interconnected.
The cult mind set is strong with many JWs. With others, they know there are issues and things like this only help to awaken them further and assist with them drumming up enough courage to leave.
If god is real, why does he allow this crap to go on? Answer, there is no god. It's all men and their BS Patriarchy. And they can shove it up their a$$es!

Are the trolley dollies* getting any results? Or, is it just another waste of life?
by fulltimestudent insteve2 initiated a discussion on how our former loving brothers and sisters are behaving, while engaging in the 'trolley work.
' (link: http://www.jehovahs-witness.com/topic/93590001/within-one-minute-jw-trolley-directs-me-jw-org ).
my own observations are the same as the posters report on steve2's thread.

The trolleys do remove the distasteful experience for the JWs of having a door slammed in their face or other negative interaction with a worldly though. This really leaves the onus up to the 'heathen' to come get the life saving message, removing the responsibility from the JWs for actively trying to save lives.
I suspect when results of very few to no publications being placed by these apathy carts/trolleys makes its way to Beth-Hell, some 'nu lite' or other instructions from the GB will be forthcoming.

Satan Changing Evidence AGAIN!
by notsurewheretogo ini see satan is at it again....a human tooth found in france is dated as being 560,000 years old...obvious nonsense since humans have only been on this planet 6,000 years ago...how will people ever find "the troof" if he keeps doing this?.
http://www.theguardian.com/science/2015/jul/28/french-archaeologist-finds-tooth-dating-560000-years-tautavel?.
i actually kept track of all the evidence there is for the 6,000 years nonsense when i started my fade years ago but quickly gave up...far too much of it..

Would the discovery of EXTRATERRESTRIAL LIFE completely debunk the bible and religion?
by Black Man ini think it would.
instantly.
in fact, i hope one day soon that we somehow encounter extraterrestrial life because i think there would be a wholesale rejection of the bible and any/all religious institutions.

Last week, the Kepler mission discovered another Earth-like planet, Kepler 452b, which is being deemed "Earth's bigger, older cousin" located about 1,400 light years from Earth in the habitable zone of a star similar to ours (aka a yellow dwarf). This brings the total number of confirmed planets to 1,030. Last year was Kepler 186f, 490 light years from Earth and very close in size to our planet in the habitable zone of a red dwarf star/sun. See the Kepler 452b briefing here:
Kepler 452b Briefing Materials
We now know that Earth-like planets located in the 'habitable zone' of stars do exist. The Earth is not a unique planet. We don't know yet if any of these harbour life but at least we know there is more than 1 Class-M planet in the universe so it is very possible there is or was life on these planets. I wish I could be alive when they find out. THAT would be so exciting.

Grandchildren pay for the sins of their parents.
by Bonsai inmy wife's mother just related to us an interview she heard during the recent three day convention that she just had to share with us.
a brother and his wife have, for over 20 years, shunned their daughter because she ran off and eloped with a worldly guy.
while openly sobbing, he related how difficult it has been to shun his daughter and avoid unnecessary contact with her and her family.

I think it was back in around 2009 one of the ragazines came out with a cover entitled something like "Do you Know Your Children?"
It was one of the last times my Dad was able to come to my house. He had the magazine in his hand, pointed to the cover, and got all choked up.
He did not know his children nor his grandchildren. His shunning of his children did not convince them to return to Jehovah. It convinced them that Jehovah is a douche-bag.
This religion has many issues. Destruction of families is just one of their legacies.
Can't you just feel the love?

It is all about choice and what level of quality you are looking for.
Snakes, why don't you take what you posted in your OP and send an email off to Timmy's complaining? See what happens. Just a thought.
In one of my local Timmy's they have this cool little fireplace and some chairs around it that they've recently put in. It's quite nice. Kinda like this one:

"Don't you love Jehovah anymore then ?"
by Phizzy inmrs phizzy ran into a jw lady from a neighbouring congo who has known us since we were teenagers, before we married, sometime in the pleistocene era lol.. during the conversation said lady asked if mrs phizzy was going to the r.c, to which mrs phizzy replied, "oh you haven't heard, we no longer go to meetings".. the jw lady then came back with the question in the thread title, which mrs phizzy handled well.. the point of this is though, what a god-awful, stupid, cult-minded question to ask !.
did she think we woke up one morning and thought "we don't love god anymore" ??
would that happen to anyone ?.

This is the response I wish to give one day:
"When I was a child I used to believe. I also believed in The Tooth Fairy, Santa Claus, and The Easter Bunny. Silent and invisible Bronze and Iron Age Middle Eastern deities are a product of the human imagination and nothing more. I have finally grown up."
