  Reports say he had COPD. My Mom had that... it's not pleasant especially if your lung capacity percentage is low.

  we all kinda guessed that if they ever addressed it they'd blame it on the media and apostates.

  What exactly is encouragement?

  when elders want to meet with an inactive person to encourage them, what does this really mean?

  encouragement is a term thrown around by the organisation.

  does this encouragement usually consist of prying into the inactive one's lifestyle?.

  All cults have their own loaded language. They regularly take normal words and build their own meanings for them. In the case of the word encouragement, Botchtower's definition is far from the actual, real, and truthful meaning of that word.

  when i understood, jws are wrong in some vital areas [eg.

  woman being viewed secondary, refusal to greet those differing with them ....], but right in other vital areas [such as their teaching that human rule is doomed, and will be replaced by gods rule], i began a diligent search for the right organization.

  my search ended with brahmakumaris.

  i've been thinking and here's what i've come up with.

  correct me if i'm wrong, but in the bible does it not state that the word would have to be preached throughout the entire inhabited earth for a witness to all people and then the end would come?.

  with the world being as vast as it is today, it would be practically impossible for the witnesses to speak to everyone in the world.
