Well, that means increased taxes and CPP premiums. Trudeau thinks he can spend his way out of the recession. No government has ever done this. Let's see how he does it. Oh joy. -

Nice moment today
by Theburstbubble inso it's been a few months since i last went to a meeting but i've still had lots of guilty feelings about leaving, such as am i doing the right thing, thinking about friends and family, where do i go from here etc etc.
but i think once you stop believing you can't go back.. anyway, today i had a very nice experience.
my daughter had been to nursery today and when she got home i asked her what she had done and she excitedly told me they had been doing pumpkins.

I have come to realize that Pagans indeed have a lot of fun. I love pumpkins... especially the pie with whipped cream versions!
A little pumpkin ambiance:

Earliest Life on Earth Pushed Back Another 300 Million Years
by cofty inresearchers have found evidence of ancient microorganisms that lived in what is now western australia at least 4.1 billion years ago.
if confirmed, the discovery suggests that life originated on earth 300 million years earlier than previously thought.
.... the ancient microorganisms in question were found trapped inside zircons formed from magma in western australia.

I remember seeing an article about amino acids being found in meteorites. Here are a couple I just dug up quickly. Anyone have any updates to these?

cappytan said: This means that other goldilocks planets likely have some form of life.
Yes. There are at least 12 other planets we know of currently besides Earth in the 'habitable zone' of stars. Nasa's Kepler mission discovered these: http://www.nasa.gov/ames/kepler/a-keplers-dozen-small-habitable-zone-planets

I am glad you were able to get through it and that everyone was nice. There are always those who feel the need to witness. Sheesh.
At my Mom's memorial, I put together some picture boards of her over the years. Everyone loved them! Yes, I was surreptitiously trying to nullify the crap talk about the Borg as much as I could by having a lovely visual presentation of my wonderful Mom. Many who were there (from the Borg) didn't really know her because my Dad had moved away from their congregation to another area. But some family were able to make it and that was nice.

Proof that the lingiusts are lying about words used in the bible IE: Shaddai, Angels, Elohim, Yhwh?
by Crazyguy inin 1967 an archeologist found at tell el-deir alla an inscription that they called the book of balaam son of beor.
this looks to be about the same balaam that's talked about in the bible book of numbers.

Far fewer references to lesbians
by Doug Mason ini notice that while a search of the wt library reveals many references to homosexuals, there are few references to lesbians.. does the wts include women when it uses the term homosexual?.
when discussing masturbation, does it mention both sexes?.
i am asking out of pure ignorance, seeking clarification.. my only comment is that religion of every shade has difficulty with the subject of sexual activity, as if it were something that is not part of nature.. doug.

No longer qualifies to share in the ministry?
by StephaneLaliberte ini heard that co's were provided with a talk outline in which people who dress and act too "gay" could eventually "no longer qualify to share in the ministry", should they not change the way they look!.
has anyone else ever heard of any other reason for which someone would be disqualified from the ministry?.

I don't know for sure, but I would highly suspect having an issue like dementia, Alzheimer's or Tourettes Syndrome might disqualify you. My Father has dementia - he has no idea what they are talking about anymore and no longer remembers the religion. He cannot string together a complete sentence. His choice of words makes no sense now. And sometimes he takes his clothes off or pours his soup at lunch into his shoe.

Queen Victoria, who asked "But what do they do in bed ?",
Well, that's probably a big indication that Queen Victoria never had her clitoris stimulated. What a sad thing.
