Perhaps this is THE reason why the Catholic higher-ups announced this week a shift in their positions on a number of controversial topics including homosexuality.

Back in 2009 my Dad told me that their CO had said something similar about the JW's. The CO had stated 'the young ones are leaving in droves'.

so i travel alot for business and check into a hotel, start putting away my things and lo and behold in a bureau drawer, find a couple of wt's a couple of awake's and two tracts.

1. throw them in the trash and forget about it.

2. leave them where they lay and forget about it.. 3. leave a note for the housekeeper asking to lay off the cult recruitment.. 4. bring it to the attention of the management, and possibly get the housekeeper fired.. thanks for your input.

This weeks #2 & #3 talk on homosexuality

after a one year sucessful fade and no longer associated with any congreation, i was visiting my sister this week (who goes to the meeting to please her husband for now; i am slowly planting seeds though) and they decided to year this weeks midweek meeting via the telephone.

since i was a guest in her house, i sat with them in the living room to hear the meeting.

to my surprise (especially growing up as a gay jw with still alot of anger in my heart over how i was treated), the talks 2 and 3 where on, of course, homosexualiy.

Time for those elders who are of the 'conscious class' to start molding a new reality in this organization when giving 'the talk'. The Catholics are changing... time for the Borg to change too.

i think my earlier post " what is a fact" has run it's course.

in this thread i would like to present the same question " what is a fact" from a different viewpoint.. many j.w children have loving parents ( that is a fact) but parents who insanley demanded unquestioning obidience to their deranged standards.. so " what is a fact" to innocent children is that a god who they have never seen nor heard, will destroy them if they dont live to the g.bs deranged standards.. so basically these children have been taught the wrong meaning of words:-.
